McCain To Rally 10000 - Obama should 'crash' it!

Mon Aug 18, 2008 at 09:35:23 AM PDT

McCain is going to be a celebrity! He's gathering 10,000 people to hypnotize pander to in Ohio the day after Obama accepts the Democratic nomination in Denver.

You've fallen a long way, baby

Fri Aug 01, 2008 at 03:24:48 PM PDT

Short diary and my apologies, but this needs seen and remembered.

McCain has fallen a long way down that bumpy hill which has become the track of the 'Straight Talk Express' and nothing shows that quite like this ad of McCain's.

What If McCain Drops Out

Mon Jul 28, 2008 at 11:23:59 AM PDT

I don't mind being called crazy and so I'm just going to throw this out there: what if McCain isn't actually planning on running for president?

He's being too direct in his attacks against Obama, diverging from public opinion too much, is way behind the trend on current events and steps all over his message, and the messages his campaign sends out, every chance he gets. Could it possibly be on purpose?

let's flip..

McCain goes Rich, and homophobic

Sun Jul 27, 2008 at 06:12:11 PM PDT

We all know John 'Straight-Talking Maverick' McCain's stances on many issues.

He's for, and against, tax cuts to the rich. He's for, and against, off-shore drilling. He's for, and against, the war in Iraq. In fact he's for, and against, abortion, gay marriage, gay adoption, affirmative action, civil rights, troops in Afghanistan, intolerant preachers, timelines, torture, campaign finance reform, immigration reform, ethanol, the Confederate flag, slander in politics, special interests, gun control, housing relief, the press, estate tax, lobbiests, wiretaps, Social Security, hurricane Katrina investigations, George Bush and the Republican party itself; and much more!

It's damn near impossible to find an issue McCain isn't (or hasn't attempted) to be on both sides of. And so what is mcCain's latest 'for' issue?

Evidently, homophobia..

Obama Campaign Hits McCain

Fri Jul 25, 2008 at 12:06:59 PM PDT

McCain has been trying to score a hit on Obama on Iraq for weeks, stepping up the rhetoric and the absurdities.

Today, speaking before the American GI Forum, McCain stated:

Eighteen months ago, America faced a crisis as profound as any in our history. Iraq was in flames, torn apart by violence that was escaping our control. Al Qaeda was succeeding in what Osama bin Laden called the central front in their war against us. The mullahs in Iran waited for America’s humiliation in Iraq, and the resulting increase in their influence. Thousands of Iraqis died violently every month. American casualties were mounting. We were on the brink of a disastrous defeat just a little more than five years after the attacks of September 11, and America faced a profound choice. Would we accept defeat and leave Iraq and our strategic position in the Middle East in ruins, risking a wider war in the near future? Or would we summon our resolve, deploy additional forces, and change our failed strategy? Senator Obama and I also faced a decision, which amounted to a real-time test for a future commander-in-chief. America passed that test. I believe my judgment passed that test. And I believe Senator Obama’s failed.

Colmes Nails Giuliani On Oil

Thu Jul 10, 2008 at 11:16:22 AM PDT

Last night on Hannity (spit) & Colmes, Alan Colmes went after Rudy Giuliani on the Republican's plan to Save Us All with off-shore and ANWR drilling.

This interview is great for many reasons, and please take the time to pick it apart at your leisure and post about it. But I want to focus on the oil issue which Colmes takes Giuliani to task on and says the things we've all been saying and should keep on saying until the MSM picks up on it.

Obama's New Energy Ad

Tue Jul 08, 2008 at 08:29:39 AM PDT

Obama has released a new ad on energy and it really kicks McCain in the, well..Bush!

Give it a watch:

British Media Puts It True

Mon Jul 07, 2008 at 02:45:30 PM PDT

Separating yourself from an issue and stepping back for the better view is advantageous to gain perspective, as seems to be the case with our friends across the pond.

While the MSM is full of, for unwillingness ot use the more precise term, 'amour' for McCain, the British press seems to have the ability to grasp the bigger picture and put to light the facts of a situation where our media tends to..gloss.

Obama slams McCain on the Economy

Sun Jul 06, 2008 at 09:19:26 AM PDT

In a preemptive move on the economic speeches both candidates are said to be planning this week, the Obama camp has released the following:

Free Trade, Terrorists and Drugs

Wed Jul 02, 2008 at 12:32:19 PM PDT

McCain's trip to Colombia and Mexico, an attempt to 'emphasize his national security credentials and to differentiate himself from Obama on trade', is a great opportunity for us and Obama to hit him on several fronts.

Hunting of the Snark

Tue Jul 01, 2008 at 06:41:36 AM PDT

It appears the government has been snark hunting, and McCain is still standing on the side of injustice.

Some would say it doesn't take a student, less a teacher, of Constitutional law to realize the travesties the Bush administration has perpetuated upon the 'terrorists' at Guantanamo, and the American people in who's name they have been done, but thank God we have one in Obama.

'Right' Across The Pond

Mon Jun 30, 2008 at 07:05:13 AM PDT

I'd like to share with the readers of KOS the views of one Gerard Baker, columnist for The Times (UK), expressing on his view of the differences between Bush and Obama, and what those differences will mean to the world.

McCainiacs Not Wanted

Sun Jun 29, 2008 at 02:19:53 PM PDT

We've all seen them in thousands of posts and blogs on this site and many others, such as TPM and HuffPo. They represent themselves as Obama supporters and talk on how they're loosing faith, how they're feeling left out, how their minds are changing.

But they are actually McCainiacs seeking to drive a wedge between us and our support of Obama and we should take active measures to keep this from happening.
