How Do You Explain The Bush Lies That Inspired These Comments?

Wed Apr 02, 2008 at 11:54:32 AM PDT

Some of my family are avid Bush supporters... STILL...
ANd when I tell them that the Iraq War was all Bush's idea, and a REpublican war that we got into because of fabricated artificial facts (Lies!), they immediately want to share the blame with Democrats by bringing up these comments from the left?
So what do you say to explain these comments from pre- 9-11 and pre- bush?
ANd how do you explain the ones that are the result of BUsh's witholding of facts and misinformation propaganda?

McCain to Campaign @ Burning Man!!

Tue Apr 01, 2008 at 09:45:51 AM PDT

YES it's TRUE!!
AMerican John McCain, American, will drive his "straight talk express" and have a good ol' "American Camp Out"at this year's Burning Man "American Dream" event!  Rumor has it that he will spend the day trying to "barter' votes from the radically expressive artists with his good ol' American Barbecue!  Now that's news that American's can sink their teeth into!

Why are these people not ARRESTED!!!

Sun Dec 23, 2007 at 10:37:25 PM PDT

I thought using propaganda on American citizens by American citizens, and especially by American citizens in the American gov't, and especially especially those who are elected to AMerican Gov't ... is illegal??!!
WHy then oh why is Senator Inhofe's website with 400 faux global warming deniers, a link on  FAUX Noise's Website as a LATEST NEWS update?  Media Matters points it out, but I just want to know WHY this is not an issue with Congress??
ANYBODY!!

Bush's Secret Ops on the move?

Wed Feb 07, 2007 at 12:11:10 AM PDT

We've talked about watching for an Iraqi Gulf of Tonkin incident manufactured by Bush to escalate the WOT into Iran. Well, if the not so "secret renditions" by this administration are a sign, then it's full steam ahead!

Another Iranian diplomat, abducted in Karradah, a heavily Shiite neighborhood and controlled by the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq, or SCIRI, has now officially "disappeared."

"Details of the kidnapping remain murky, but one government official said it began when gunmen wearing Iraqi army uniforms blocked Sharafi's car in the Karradah district, forced him into one of their two vehicles and sped away."

Bush's blunder of "Hitlerian proportions!"

Fri Feb 02, 2007 at 12:12:20 AM PDT

I had a hell of a time finding this article that seems to be hidden from all the search engines.  It quotes a retired Colonel Douglas Macgregor describing Bush's execution and expansion of the WOT into Iran, as a "blunder of Hitlerian proportions."

Macgregor likened the policy of fighting all three Iraqi anti-occupation forces at once to Adolf Hitler's insistence on continuing a two-front war against the Soviet Union and the Western powers during World War II, which is widely regarded as having ensured the defeat of Nazi Germany.

Calling Nanny 911 for Bush!

Sat Jan 27, 2007 at 01:52:52 AM PDT

Can we just get a rush call out to Nanny 911 and have her put Bush, Condi, Dick, and the rest of them in their place?
I mean, c'mon!

We need to talk about Diplomacy:
"the conduct of international relations through the intercession of professional diplomats with regard to issues of peace-making, culture, economics, trade, and war."

Unfortunately this administrations warped definition of diplomacy expressed clearly in July and again recently in testimony is:

"furtherance of plans to secure its own hegemony over the Middle East by force of arms."

Hillary, Back to the Future!

Mon Jan 22, 2007 at 10:44:40 AM PDT

For my dog, Wally, the social roles of males and females is pretty much set in stone. For us, however, the social roles of men and women are a little more evolved and complex. Today, I feel as if I am part of history in the making because I just signed up on the the Hillary for President website!
As I typed in my information, I reflected on how the fairness of our democratic process of government, with its checks and balances based loosely on the Native American Iroquois Confederation of inter-tribal treaties, has succeeded so well as to finally present us with Hillary Rodham Clinton, as potentially the first female President of the United States! Wow!

Carter's Little Apartheid Starter

Sun Jan 14, 2007 at 12:34:51 AM PDT

Ok, what is the real deal here?  I don't care if you worship Allah, Yaweh, Isis, or Bugs Bunny.  I have a Jewish housemate, a catholic Irish housemate, while I am a multi-ethnic independent spiritualist.  We can live together. Why can't others?
Former President Jimmy Carter, that hate monkering nobel peace prize winner, is now being called, not just an anti-semite, but a  Coward, Hypocrite, and a Bully.

Can we just stop with all the name calling and have a friggin conversation people?!  It's time we just laid out some history and facts about the middle east and faced the music.

What is really going on here?  When an eighty eight year old man writes a controversial book and gets called a "coward and a bully" right out of the starting gate, somebody's trying to hide something!

The Madness of King George

Fri Jan 12, 2007 at 02:06:52 AM PDT

How long must we suffer the endless posturing of Bush and his administration???  I seem to remember that the initial authorization to go to war mentioned something about trying diplomacy first, not last, and especially not ever!

Rice repeated the Bush administration's intent not to join in direct talks on Iraq with Iran and Syria because the United States would be seen as a "supplicant."

"I think there's a burden on Iran and Syria to show that there are reasons to come to the table that are in the best interest of the region," Rice told members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in a morning hearing.

So Bush and Condi are afraid that America would "loose face" and be seen as a "supplicant" (–noun
one praying humbly for something; "a suppliant for her favors"; to kneel down)
if we engage in conversation with Iraq's neighbors for a lasting peace?

To surge or not to surge...

Fri Dec 22, 2006 at 02:37:54 PM PDT

Riddle me this Batman:
"When is an escalation of violence not an escalation?"

Answer:
When it's a "surge."

Okay, we all know Bush is operating out of an Orwellian collective unconscious, but we need to start using the "Reality Check" solution, and on a 24/7 basis.  Specifically, a surge sounds nicer than an escalation. And no doubt polls show that. But the nail needs more than just a tapping on the head. It needs to be hammered home!  It's time to remember the basics:

The supreme strategy that MUST be applied is the same one that drives the entire neo-con "wag the dog" manifesto:

"He who defines the situation, determines the outcome."

Parasites and "The New Way Forward!"

Tue Dec 12, 2006 at 06:12:19 PM PDT

What do parasites and the Bush neo-cons have in common?  Both think they can suck the life out of the host, whether it's a leach on an animal or humans devouring the resources of a people, a country, or the whole earth. Which is what we and most of the developing world are doing "hog wild in the wrong direction."

Mother Nature gets the last word... Always!

Tue Dec 05, 2006 at 03:19:31 PM PDT

I'd say Global Warming is a clear symptom of advanced State of Denial syndrome.   The chronic condition that is directly related to  "The sins of the fathers being visited on the heads of the children... unto the seventh generation!"

Until the blind leading the blind admit they don't know where they're going, and we stop letting them get away with it, "our likely hood of survival will be that of a snowball's chance in hell."

BUSH~puts the DICk back in -TATOR !

Mon Dec 04, 2006 at 12:20:09 AM PDT

Bush's insulting behavior, insensitivity, or most likely pointed cruelty toward newly elected Webb at the meet n greet, was to me another indication, and evidence, (as in observable fact) that Bush leads by intimidation, just like any authoritarian dictator, criminal, or lowlife thug.

The video of him invading the space of the German Chancellor Merkel as pointed out by John Stewart, shows how Bush disrespects personal boundaries.

Bully Bush Blames Iraqi China Shop- Newsweek

Sun Dec 03, 2006 at 04:33:10 AM PDT

The latest  Newsweek dated for Dec 11 2006,   informative and revealing, brings up the obvious Commission report inspired preemptive strike  of bush's latest charades at diplomacy.
It gives a clarifying view of Baker's role with Bush 41 and Bush 43 as the neo-con to the rescue.  And it rips into Bush's position as a Bull in the China Shop blaming the China Shop for breaking!
Is there any doubt?

Oliver "Plead the 5th-FOX NEWS" North

Sat Nov 25, 2006 at 02:25:29 AM PDT

So the sad truth is that FOX "Propaganda Brainwashing Machine" News employs pardoned criminals like Oliver  "Illegal Gun Runner to Iran for Hostages" North. North will continue to misrepresent Truth to manipulate the American public by *using continued "Falsehood Associations"* in order to demon-ize anything Democrat or "Open To New Ideas" Liberal.
On the FOX "Avoid the Truth At All Costs"News site yesterday, former Colonel Ollie Oliver "Continue To Mis-Represent The Truth" North criticizing a Draft, refers to John Kerry as the "Study or Get Stuck in Iraq" Kerry.

Nuke a Gay Translator for Jesus!

Fri Nov 17, 2006 at 01:36:24 PM PDT

I see the tide rising now!   Finally some reason begins to dawn in politics with the discussion turning to COMMUNICATION, which is critical while we are at war. Hmmm... a little late in coming, but hey, ya know, the "Wizard of Rove" all that...
So the firing of translators  according to CBS, which still uses past figures, perhaps hurts the war on terror. Oh, and suddenly now it seems that there were more gay translators discharged than were cited. Instead it seems, almost 30 Middle East Language specialists   and at least 800
other critical job specialists have been discharged for being gay.

Um... how exactly does is this helping in fighting the War on Terror?

The "KEY" to success.

Sun Nov 12, 2006 at 04:22:09 AM PDT

Okay, we all know we won. We all know that the decisive "shift" had many facets to winning, but the "KEY" to winning, during a war, is gaining trust in National Security over the party in power.

Does anyone doubt this? Well, we are still at war.

Republican Treachery In the Wind...!

Wed Nov 08, 2006 at 03:01:20 PM PDT

I'd love to celebrate, but not having any decent work since Bush took office makes my celebration plans minimal anyway... still... I don't think their cheating is done yet!
This came from the Fox (Foux) news site:
In Virginia, the State Board of Elections announced it would not certify the outcome of the race between incumbent Republican Sen. George Allen and Democratic challenger Jim Webb until Nov. 27, after which recounts could begin. There are no automatic recounts in Virginia. The candidates were separated by about 7,800 votes out of more than 2.3 million cast, with indications from both camps that any final outcome could wind up in court.

There is a pattern here, I'm sure you've seen it before: "Denial, denial, denial!"
