Antisemite James Baker Endorsed John McCain
Fri Feb 29, 2008 at 05:49:45 AM PDT
(note: Reposted from yesterday without an offensive poll question that was added as a joke, but became troll bait).
Antisemitic, Israel hater, James Baker III endorsed John McCain for President.
I call on John McCain to denounce AND reject James Baker, who once said:
Humor: Help Russert Write More Idiotic Debate Gotcha Hypotheticals
Wed Feb 27, 2008 at 07:20:40 AM PDT
I'm sure we were all amused, dusgusted, angered, frustrated and/or depressed about the idiotic questions Tim Russert threw at both Senator Clinton and Senator Obama last night.
But rather than post some kind of substantive diary criticizing Russert, I thought I would let kossacks have some fun mocking his pathetic ass by posting your own ridiculous hypothetical questions in the comments of this diary.
To give you an idea, here are a couple I came up with:
Ralph Nader's Gift to Barack Obama
Mon Feb 25, 2008 at 11:45:01 AM PDT
You know, I think it's great that Ralph Nader is running for President again. I really do. And I agree with him that his candidacy did not tip the scales for Bush in 2000 or Kerry in 2004.
Nader didn't do that all by himself. The foolish people who voted for him in close battleground states did that. [Nader votes, incidentally, almost cost John Kerry Wisconsin in 2004]
Fuck You Fred Wertheimer. Kos is Right.

Markos is absolutely, 100% correct. Barack Obama has no moral, ethical, legal, or any other obligation to tell the hundreds of thousands of ordinary folks who have enlisted in his campaign for change, and donated small sums of money to it, to go jump in the lake.
McCain Campaign Paid $50,000 to a White Supremacist
Fri Feb 15, 2008 at 07:10:14 AM PDT
OH MY GOD, HESIOD! Yet another headline designed to grab attention -- but which is only tenagentially true? Nope. Its 100% true! More after the bump....
The Obama "Che Flag" Flap Metastisizes.
Thu Feb 14, 2008 at 06:50:17 AM PDT
I am sure I will get another round of dismissive, condescending comments about continuing to raise this issue, but the sad fact is that it's is not going away. If anything, it is starting to become a problem for Obama.
The GOP Swiftboating of Obama has Begun. A Taste of What's To Come
Wed Feb 13, 2008 at 05:38:23 AM PDT
This is rather unorthodox, but I am reposting a diary I wrote and posted yesterday because I think this subject and issue are extremely important. Especially in light of last night's election results.
In 2004, I along with a few others, saw the threat posed by the Swiftboat Liars for Bush well befre even the Kerry campaign did. I still had a blog then, and I sent my readers to the Swiftboat website message boards to fact check and act as a truth squad. Eventually, we were all banned after making ourselves an irritant. I e-mailed people in the Kerry campaign with factual debunkings. I raised the alarm in numerous posts on my blog. But I didn't have enough of a megaphone to get them to pay attention.
A Wingnut Bullshit Attack on Obama Alert!

McCain Is Pandering to Rightwingers via Robocalls
Thu Feb 07, 2008 at 08:20:54 AM PDT
This is interesting. While John McCain may take a slightly more moderate tone in his highly anticipated speech at CPAC this week, he has been dialing up Conservatives with an obsequious and pathetic robocalling operation promising to tow the line on all the conservatoive pet causes including appointing nutjob ideolgical Judges like Roberts and Alito.
A Long Dem Primary Fight is Great News!
Wed Feb 06, 2008 at 09:10:44 AM PDT
One could, at this point, insert the requisite joke that a protracted state-by-state delegate fight for the nomination by Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama is "good for the Republicans."
But, sadly, while we all know that to be an ironic joke. Much like "Mcain is a maverick," or "The surge is working," the media seems to be trapped inside a conventional wisdom box.
Hillary in dead heat with McCain in California. Disaster!

Dems Need to "Work the Refs" on McCain
Thu Jan 31, 2008 at 09:53:27 AM PDT
The Democratic candidate for President, whoever it may be, along with the Democratic National Committee and evey single Demoicratic party talking head in the media, print and online has got to go after the Traditional Media hard every time they suck up to John McCain.
If It Ain't Brokered, We Can't Fix It: GORE/OBAMA '08
Wed Jan 30, 2008 at 06:45:45 AM PDT
Many of you know that I am ding everything I can here and on other progressive blogs to prevent Hillary Clinton from becoming the nominee of the Democratic party for President of the United States.
Most of you assume I am an Obama supporter because I have been defending him and promoting him. Well, that is actually not the case. I have been defending and advocating for Obama because I saw him as the only viable alternative to Hillary Clinton.
Formally, I was and still am a John Edwards fan. But with his anounce, ment today that he is dropping out of the race, we are now down to Hillary vs Barack.
Poll: Is Hillary's Campaign Damaging the Dem Brand?

Here's the question for you.
Bill Clinton's Secret Plan to Humiliate his Wife
Wed Jan 23, 2008 at 08:26:58 AM PDT
Those of you who think Hillary stands a snowballs chance in hell of beating John McCain in November make Amy Winehouse look sober.
Hillary is Killing the Democratic Party
Tue Jan 22, 2008 at 06:46:28 AM PDT
The more I see of how she and her husband are running her campaign, the more disgusted I am with the whole process.
Over the weekend, I shivered over the prospect of a Hillary vs McCain presidential race this fall....and got exceedingly depressed.
I'm a Michigan Voter: How Should I Vote?
Tue Jan 15, 2008 at 07:02:35 AM PDT
I confess, I came up with the "Vote for Romney to screw up the GOP race" idea before Kos did. Or at least before Markos posted a diary about it. [I can't be sure he didn't think of it first, of course].
If you don't believe me, just ask my wife!
The Next POTUS: John McCain
Mon Jan 14, 2008 at 06:31:30 AM PDT
That's a scary headline, isn't it?
I can't tell you how goddamned depressed I am right now. I see the 2008 Presidential race is becoming an absolute train wreck for the Democrats. Thanks to a number of factors.
