on NPR being interviewed about Rumsfeld. Naturally, Perle thinks Rummy has done a superb job with the pitiful military Clinton left him.  My question is : Why is this man being interviewed on NPR as an expert?  I would like to hear some opinions on what to do about NPR.  I found its pre eletion coverage to be shockingly biased.  As a result of this and other tilts to the right (the Tucker Carlson Show, The Wall St. Journal Editorial show), I withheld my contribution to PBS for the first time in many years.  When they called and asked me to renew, I politely told them no and gave my reasons.  This is hard for me, as I live in a relatively rural area in a southern state, and my news options are limited.  However, I feel that "liberal" institutions like NPR actually do more damage than the obviously right leaning ones like FOX. What's the solution, Kossacks?

Can someone help me find links to reports that Rove had a plan in early 2002 to manipulate a war in Iraq for Bush's reelection?  I believe there was some sort of Republican retreat where he outlined his strategy.  Also, was this covered in the famous "found" CD?  This could help me sway a vote.
