I am lazy.  

I hear that the first step towards recovery is admittance, so there you go.  I am one lazy S.O.B.  I would rather sit on my butt and scroll through purity troll diaries dropping my own little pearls of wisdom in them every once in a while, than run the risk of breaking out in a sweat from actual physical activity.

Also, I am cheap.

I hate spending money on, well, pretty much anything.  I especially hate spending my hard earned dinero on fossil fuels that only serve to enrich those M-F'ers at Chevron.  

It is at the nexus of these two major character flaws that I have come.  It is here that I have realized that ridiculously priced  gas is a good thing for me.

Follow me over the rainbow for the rest of the story, (I refuse to call it a jump, because I don't know what that means, and I hate looking stupid, but I do like rainbows)

Wally was, is, my friend.  This has nothing to do with politics and I am sorry if I am breaking some rules, but I have this need to eulogize my friend if only for myself.  I have sat on this for a couple weeks afraid of the feelings that my come from writing this, but I need to get this out.

Take a look to your right there.  No, on the screen.  See the reccomended diaries?  Hillary this, Barack that, Why I am voting for Obama, Why I am carrying Clinton's love child.  (OK, I made the last one up, but only to illustrate a larger point.)  

Who are we running against?  Shouldn't one think that a bastion of DFH's like the DK would have at least ONE "MCCain will kill your children in a perpetual war" dairy on the rec list? While we snipe at each other, the GOPer's are starting to coalesce around Grampa McPain.  They are getting their shit together, while we chase shiny things in the same manner as my border collie.

So here's the deal.  Stop it.  I don't care why you are voting for whomever.  I am assuming you have your reasons, I know I have mine.  That's groovy, you are voting.  Fantastic.  What I do care about is that we get as many people as possible voting Democratic.  Let's just try to focus on the big picture OK?
