What I Really Hate On Prog Blogs...

I hate it when someone posts a middle finger aimed at a product they haven't even tried, simply because they judged it by its name and the initial press release.
I hate when folks on the left decry concern trolls telling democrats and feminists how they should behave, and then turn around and concern troll others, without actually doing all the legwork to support their position.

I learned it from YOU, Dad!

I wonder where the "insurgents" learned
this trick. You know, the one where you don't like an elected government official (well, if you consider the election valid, that is), and real democracy is just too hard, tedious, and time-consuming, so you just
storm the seat of power with guns,
kick the guy out, and put
someone you like (for now) in his place. It's not like it was the
first time they had seen this done.
I'm reminded of that late 80s DARE commercial in which a father is confronting his son with a box-full of pot paraphernalia and asking him where he learned to do this kind of thing. The son replies, "I learned it from you, Dad!"
Who's Iraq's Daddy, now?
