This comes from Drudge:
Since the beginning I liked Huckabee; however, I never thought he had a chance.
Of course, now that he has a chance and now that we have heard him I hope he is not our candidate (please see profile if you're confused about this diary).
That said, it is looking better and better for Democrats as the Republican candidates continue to look weaker.
No, don't worry. I don't believe this election will be a landslide defeat for the democrats. It will be for my party -- the Republican party -- and there is not much we can do except hope for a weak nominee for the Democrats. Here's how we think (and yes, this is a Rovian ploy to get Hillary elected because she is fatally flawed candidate, or not):
Fold over the more...(wanted to be different).
The United States (and most of the Western world) is a free market economy where production of goods is mostly or completely done privately. Some may disagree with this statement and there are some valid arguments (especially with our Keynesian-like system).
I attended a small, private Christian college in a western suburb of Chicago called Wheaton College. This is also the same college that the evangelist Billy Graham attended. That said, I have a deep respect for Billy Graham. Anytime he says anything I usually take pause to intently listen.
I just read an article in Time magazine where Reverend Graham said the following:
"I keep up with her," Graham said. "I think a lot of Hillary...She is different from the Hillary you see in the media. There is a warm side to her — and a spiritual one."
More below the fold...
I really didn't think I would write another diary here. I did my one post regarding the O'Reilly situation and I was honestly shocked by the response -- shocked.
I watched the O'Reilly hit job regarding Daily Kos and Jet Blue and I really feel something needs to be said from my side of aisle.
I cannot remember when I first signed up to become a member of Daily Kos but I have to admit my original intentions were not honorable. Honestly, I wanted to stir the pot. I wanted to entice users and get subtle comments in here and there and see what sort of responses I could generate.
Well, once I got bored with that I decided to start reading different diaries.
