After looking at the Western Europe media, the basic response is ''The change we can believe in'' cannot happen.

Cultures and some Politic Medias express it differently
but that is the main message there IMHO.

Could it be?  ''The World Bids Farewell to Obama'' is the Title of Der Spiegel article in the english edition.

Salutations to all, please remember that english is not my First Language.

I like taking knowledge of European reactions to United States Political events, patterns and programs.

Reflecting on the significance of the loss of Massachusetts Senate Seat.
Looking from outside U.S. sometimes provides another perspective.

Today I was particularly surprise on the pertinence of German political analysts from some medias.

The center-right Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung
The left-leaning daily Die Tageszeitung
The Financial Times Deutschland
Center-left daily Süddeutsche Zeitung

...and of course Der Spiegel lecture with the above references.

After keeping the Military-Industrial Regent

( M. Gates - Secretary of Defence, after keeping Banker and Wall Streets Regent)

For a whole year we can see a weakening President.

Doing his best to get a common Force with both parties, He has lost his powers to realize the Change we can believe in.

It was his first year, obviously believing that both parties would bend to more justice and respect it had became obvious he just couldn't make it.

I presume if He is not corrupted, it was simply innocence shown in Public.

Staying Warm in Cold Times

by Snowy Owl

It is worth it to take a couple of hours to block the flow of cold air getting inside your home by blocking all walls, electrical sockets, windows and doors air leaks, you gain 5 to 10 degree inside with just this, if not more.

In extreme cold for you, block the dryer tube (unplug the dryer) then stick a carton over your air fan above the oven.

Remember in North America, in Winter the North Wall is the Coldest and the West one, so plan to move your indoor activities to the South East inside your Om.

As an Algonquin Ojibwa from around the Great Lakes, my perception of the movie Avatar is exactly a representation of what, we First Nations has lived in the Americas.

Greed, selfishness, inhumane behaviors by the Spanish, the English and the Portugueses is indeed the same as shown in this Avatar movie.

The same was done in Australia, New Zealand Africa, and so many countries.

The only differences is the conclusion, Mother Earth and its Nature has not yet blast the teenage selfishness of short mind people.

Don't threaten Iran, Carter says

by Snowy Owl

Via CNN ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN)

The United States and other nations should take a diplomatic approach toward Iran in negotiations over that nation's nuclear program, President Carter said Thursday.
President Carter says the U.S. should take a diplomatic approach toward Iran.

President Carter says the U.S. should take a diplomatic approach toward Iran.

"They have a right to purify uranium and plutonium to use for nuclear power," Carter said. "If Iran is on the borderline, the constant threats that we or the Israelis are going to attack Iran is the best thing to force them to say, 'Let's defend ourselves.' I don't think Iran has made up their mind what to do, and I think the best thing we can do is engage them and stop making these idle threats."

UN scrutinises Gaza 'war crimes'

From the BBC

The UN's main human rights watchdog has begun a debate on a damning report into Israel's military operation against Gaza eight months ago.

It is seen as a test of US engagement with the Human Rights Council, which was shunned by President George W Bush.

The US, which is Israel's main ally, has criticised elements of the report.

And there is Israel Nuclear weapons and two weights and two measures on nuclear autorisations.

Just before everything blowws up within our surroundings.

Although I still believe that Canadian Health Care system is the best and most generous and responsible in the American Hemisphere I have to admit that GovernMental pandemic preparedness and response to the upcoming Fall Wave of Swine Flu is deeply in the Ditch to be polite.

Yesterday Oppisition Members of the Parlement imposed a meeting in important GovernMental MP's and Health Minister Holidays.

After going around in circles the Health Minister suddenly got out of the meeting without comments and without coming back.

The Opposition comply with the Decorum of the event in words and deeds, but not the Health Minister.

There were more things not being said than being said.  Keep on reading it is outrageous.

In the Network on Insurers in the last two months there has been a lot of discussion concerning their responsibilities over their clients that makes Mass Gathering Events.

The word was let's wait till Fall.

The decisions is now unfolding, all indoors mass gathering events will not be insured because of possible responsibilities concerning a surge of H1N1 infections in closed stadium or Concert Hall for this Fall and Winter.
