Shouldn't the Clemens investigation be "off the table"?
Wed Feb 13, 2008 at 11:09:54 AM PDT
All of this crap about whether or not Roger Clemens got shot in the ass with HDH or Steroids pales in the face of serious national issues. Yet Congress finds the time to hold investigations on this meaningless bullshit.
Congress can find the time... bring every other thing to a standstill, evidently, to hold hearings on this, but investigating the lies, and illegal actions of the Bush Administration is "off the table".
Obama, getting the shaft or giving the shaft?
Thu Oct 25, 2007 at 11:14:57 AM PDT
In what can only be seen as a desperate attempt to find an issue to distract from this horribly failed Administration, the Republicans have picked the flag again.
First, Barach Obama is seen without a flag lapel pin and the Wrong Wing collective anus puckers.
This, even though many Republican candidates can be seen without flag lapel pins.
A bat-shit crazy President
Wed Sep 26, 2007 at 01:39:27 PM PDT
On September 24, 2007 two Presidents of two different nations made these comments:
- "You've isolated your nation. You've taken a nation of proud and honorable people and made your country the pariah of the world."
- "What religion, please tell me, tells you as a follower of that religion to occupy another country and kill its people? ... You just can't wear your religion on your sleeve or just go to church. You should be truthfully religious."
- "I think your ideas are weird, your religion is bat-shit, and you talk funny."
Which comment belongs to which President?
Who the F#@K cares about Don Imus?
Fri Apr 13, 2007 at 07:33:36 AM PDT
So, Don Imus lost his obnoxious gig at MSNBC. Who cares? There are bigger, far more important issues to which Americans should be paying attention.
Imus called the Rutger's Women's basketball players "Nappy Headed Ho's".
So, what? He has been a scumbag for the many years he's been on the air. Some corporate entity finally decided to quit working with him. Great!
That's the real story: Why has corporate America supported this hack for so many years?

The Truth Finally Catches Up to an Ann Coulter Lie
Sun Dec 31, 2006 at 01:12:32 PM PDT
In Treason, her best-selling masturbatory salute to McCarthyism, Ann Coulter wrote,
"(Sheryl) Crow explained that the 'best way to solve problems is to not have enemies.' War solves that problem too: We won't have any enemies because we're going to kill them. Crow warned of 'huge karmic retributions that will follow.' She seemed not to understand that America going to war is huge karmic retribution. They killed three thousand Americans and now they're going to die." -- Ann Coulter, P. 248
A Long Overdue Email from the ACLU
Sat Dec 09, 2006 at 07:24:37 AM PDT
The good news about joining the ACLU is all the good work you support. It's worth any of the bad.
The bad is all the mail and email about every ill that befalls the world. Once you join the ACLU, everyone seems to know you're an easy mark. It's good to know about Amnesty International and NARAL and the many, many, worthy causes, but we had to buy a larger mailbox to keep our Postal worker from going postal on us.
This week, all of the other emails and letters were vindicated. This poem is destined to be a classic. It said to "share with friends" so, I thought you all should see it.
On their behalf, I hope you copy, print, send, and attribute the ACLU, liberally.
If you're not a member, you should be.
Merry Christmas.

Do you know why you're a Democrat?
Tue Oct 24, 2006 at 04:43:33 PM PDT
This is the text of a speech I gave in front of a bunch of Republican knuckle draggers. You have to imagine it loud, and "take no prisoners". They gave a "boo!" or two, but they were like gasoline on a fire.
I am a Democrat because the Democrats are clearly,
· the party of the people.
· They are the party with solutions.
· They are the party of real moral values.
· The Democrats are the party that defends our nation.
· They are the Party of real fiscal responsibility.
Complicit in the Death of the Constitution
Fri Oct 20, 2006 at 10:38:02 AM PDT
Our Congress allowed the Constitution to die. On October 17th the President formally killed it by
signing the Military Commissions Act ending habeas corpus in America. We are now little different from the tin-horn dictatorships we've propped up and/or taken out at our whim through the years depending on their willingness to share the wealth.
While this is a Republican scandal far more important than sex, we can't ignore the complicit Democrats involved.
Pesticide Exec Named to Bush's EPA
Mon Oct 09, 2006 at 07:08:15 AM PDT
George Bush appointed Elin Miller, former North American president of Tokyo-based pesticide maker, Arysta Life-Science
regional administrator for EPA's Region 10 headquartered in Seattle. She'll oversee Washington, Oregon, Alaska and Idaho.
It makes perfect sense when you think about it.
Energy polluters write the Energy Bill behind closed doors.
No Child Left Behind leaves schools falling short.
Clear Skies clean no skies.
Why wouldn't pesticide makers run EPA? If an environmental disaster occurs in the Northwest, Elin would be in line for a Medal of Freedom!
"The people in government I know that worked for her had a lot of admiration for her, because she took off her industry hat when she went in and went to work there," said Jay Vroom, president of CropLife America, a group representing the pesticide industry.
"I think she's a consensus builder," he said.
Yeah, that's the ticket!
A Quiz on the Bush Administration for today's students
Sat Sep 30, 2006 at 09:04:58 AM PDT
I read with some sadness and a great deal of anger diary entries from
teacherken. I am no longer a teacher but remember the days. I still stay involved in the High School and find myself in front of a class on occasion. This group of 17, 18, and 19 year olds will be graduated to a different America than that which my class found more than 30 years ago.
I would be interested in a response from the Class of 2007 after doing this worksheet:
Frist, the Repubs & Internet Gambling (important shit...NOT!)
Thu Sep 14, 2006 at 08:23:57 PM PDT
According to the
Washington Post, Senate Majority Leader
Bill Frist is exploiting a
Defense Department authorization bill in order to once again, delve into people's private lives and stop Internet gambling.
The House already took, valuable time away from important issues to debate and pass an Internet gambling restriction in July.
Republicans vote against National Security
Wed Sep 13, 2006 at 05:21:45 PM PDT
S.Amdt. 4936 failed on a party line vote.
The Bill Title: To provide real national security, restore United States leadership, and implement tough and smart policies to win the war on terror should cause The Battle Hymn of the Republic to start playing in the background.
While forty-one Democrat Patriots voted to support Harry Reid's bill, Republicans voted for the terrorists and against the legislation.
Hannity and Whodafukwazat?!?!?
Thu Aug 24, 2006 at 07:25:19 PM PDT
I'll probably be a little embarrassed after admitting never hearing of Kirsten Powers before, but I'm sure as hell looking forward to learning more. She substituted for milktoast Hannity-Sockpuppet, Alan Colmes Thursday.
Kirsten kicked Ann Coulter's ass and sent the bitch packing. She gave the Slobber Goddess a taste of Hannity's medicine: she interrupted Ann a few times and cut her off when she diverted from the question. Ann left the show! The Bitch got up and left the show!
The Next Swift Boat Victim?
Sat Jul 01, 2006 at 05:25:49 PM PDT

Here's what
Wikipedia has to say about Virginia Senate Democratic Candidate, James H. Webb, former Republican and Navy Secretary under Ronald RayGun:
Webb was commissioned a second lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. He served with the 5th Marine Regiment in Vietnam as a rifle platoon and company commander. He remained in the Marine Corps until 1972, receiving the Navy Cross, the second-highest award in the Navy; the Silver Star Medal; two Bronze Star Medals; and two Purple Hearts.
The US learned from British intelligence that Iraq had attempted to acquire uranium from Africa
Tue Jun 27, 2006 at 05:05:00 PM PDT
You have to say those 16 words out loud a few times to get the real feel for the story.
"The US learned from British intelligence that Iraq had attempted to acquire uranium from Africa."
George W. Bush said these 16 words in his 2003 State of the Union Address when he was told that both US and British intelligence didn't stand by those words.
Ann Coulter was right!
Tue Jun 13, 2006 at 07:16:21 AM PDT
Ann has been in the news lately while
hawking her new book. She's been running her mouth and stirring up the masses. As she is providing plenty of red meat for her base, it will be good for sales.
She has been getting hit pretty hard from the Left and a tad from the right. My first reaction was to pile on. But, the more I looked at the things the Slobber Goddess was saying, the more I realized that she is an expert and must be right.
