All of this crap about whether or not Roger Clemens got shot in the ass with HDH or Steroids pales in the face of serious national issues. Yet Congress finds the time to hold investigations on this meaningless bullshit.

Congress can find the time... bring every other thing to a standstill, evidently, to hold hearings on this, but investigating the lies, and illegal actions of the Bush Administration is "off the table".

In what can only be seen as a desperate attempt to find an issue to distract from this horribly failed Administration, the Republicans have picked the flag again.

First, Barach Obama is seen without a flag lapel pin and the Wrong Wing collective anus puckers.

This, even though many Republican candidates can be seen without flag lapel pins.

On September 24, 2007 two Presidents of two different nations made these comments:

1. "You've isolated your nation. You've taken a nation of proud and honorable people and made your country the pariah of the world."

2. "What religion, please tell me, tells you as a follower of that religion to occupy another country and kill its people? ... You just can't wear your religion on your sleeve or just go to church. You should be truthfully religious."

3. "I think your ideas are weird, your religion is bat-shit, and you talk funny."

Which comment belongs to which President?

So, Don Imus lost his obnoxious gig at MSNBC.  Who cares?  There are bigger, far more important issues to which Americans should be paying attention.

Imus called the Rutger's Women's basketball players "Nappy Headed Ho's".

So, what?  He has been a scumbag for the many years he's been on the air.  Some corporate entity finally decided to quit working with him. Great!

That's the real story:  Why has corporate America supported this hack for so many years?

First we had Michael Brown and the infamous, "Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job."

Of course, 10 days later, Michael Brown was thrown under the bus.... er,  resigned.  

Then, on Defense Secretary Rumsfeld, the President proclaimed:  "I reiterate my strong support for his leadership during this historic and challenging time for our Nation."

In Treason, her best-selling masturbatory salute to McCarthyism, Ann Coulter wrote,

The good news about joining the ACLU is all the good work you support. It's worth any of the bad.
The bad is all the mail and email about every ill that befalls the world.  Once you join the ACLU, everyone seems to know you're an easy mark.  It's good to know about Amnesty International and NARAL and the many, many, worthy causes, but we had to buy a larger mailbox to keep our Postal worker from going postal on us.

I used to be a big United Way supporter. I was a Loaned Exec for years and spoke often to help the local organization meet their goals.

Then the whole sha-bang came down with the Boy Scouts of America discriminating against people because of their religion and/or sexual orientation.

This is the text of a speech I gave in front of a bunch of Republican knuckle draggers. You have to imagine it loud, and "take no prisoners". They gave a "boo!" or two, but they were like gasoline on a fire.

I am a Democrat because the Democrats are clearly,

· the party of the people.
· They are the party with solutions.
· They are the party of real moral values.
· The Democrats are the party that defends our nation.
· They are the Party of real fiscal responsibility.

Our Congress allowed the Constitution to die.  On October 17th the President formally killed it by signing the Military Commissions Act ending habeas corpus in America.  We are now little different from the tin-horn dictatorships we've propped up and/or taken out at our whim through the years depending on their willingness to share the wealth.

While this is a Republican scandal far more important than sex, we can't ignore the complicit Democrats involved.

George Bush appointed Elin Miller, former North American president of Tokyo-based pesticide maker, Arysta Life-Science regional administrator for EPA's Region 10  headquartered in Seattle. She'll oversee Washington, Oregon, Alaska and Idaho.

I read with some sadness and a great deal of anger diary entries from teacherken.  I am no longer a teacher but remember the days. I still stay involved in the High School and find myself in front of a class on occasion. This group of 17, 18, and 19 year olds will be graduated to a different America than that which my class found more than 30 years ago.

She has been getting hit pretty hard from the Left and a tad from the right.  My first reaction was to pile on. But, the more I looked at the things the Slobber Goddess was saying, the more I realized that she is an expert and must be right.
