Please don't flame this diary until you've read to the end

I recently wrote a diary about the reasons people oppose Senator Obama, and why these reasons are unfounded.  I will never vote for Barack Obama

The diary was well received, and I decided to write the follow up on all the reasons out there why Senator McCain is a "great" candidate and will make a "great" president.

This time, however, I thought a musical journey would make this more.... fun.

I wrote this diary before, and per reader request am reposting with an update.

America is facing its deepest economic crisis since the Great Depression.

Unfortunately for us, no one in our government seems ready to acknowledge the problems we're facing.

Below is what America faces, and some prescription for it.  I have divided the diary into sections of the economy that are relevant to the discussion.

We should demand that all the candidates address these issues.  I hope you find this diary informative.

This is an op-ed of a democrat who has never written a candidate diary.

Below are merely my thoughts and reflections on why so many Americans who would, in other circumstances easily vote for someone like Senator Obama are hesitant to do so now.

I try to address the "objections" I have observed.

This will be a short diary.  But, I felt it deserves a diary.

The Republican Machine seems to have refocused on Senator over the past week.

They seem to believe that Obama as Nominee or VP is a definite now.

So, they will begin smearing him.

We must be prepared to defend him with reasoned debate, and to counter punch when necessary.

Yes, the economy.  For whatever it's worth, I've compiled some recent data that point to the U.S. economy either being in, or entering a recession.

IMHO, this recession - our beloved leader's parting gift to us - will be long, hard and deep.

Strap yourselves in.  Keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times.

Do you think Senator Obama or Senator Clinton will politically benefit more from this economic news?  I'm curious to hear your thoughts.

This news will bring the economy front and center this week.

I'm writing to address all the fervent supporters of Senator Obama, who in their zealous advocacy of their candidate have chosen to resort to vitriolic rants and personal attacks on Senator Clinton.

Would you vote for a Clinton/Obama or a Obama/Clinton ticket?
