I've been reading so many interesting, thoughtful and passionate comments and diaries on so many subjects as I've buried myself in the Kos community.  My mind has lingered on thoughts of war, conflict, peace and surrender, but I didn't have anything cohesive to write until today when I came across a brief essay (or meditation) written by Thich Nhat Hanh entitled "The Roots of War".
