This morning as I got my daughter ready for another episode of As Fourth Grade Turns, she showed me the book she was reading. She said she had to read it "soon" because the school librarian volunteer parent had to take it back to the town library. Whaaa? I hope everyone had a safe and fun New Year's Eve last night! For the 4th straight year Casa Brillig spent it with family friends.... We watched TV coverage of festivities in New York or elsewhere, ate well, and tried to keep our kids awake until midnight (props to Kid Brillig, who made it for the 3rd consecutive year!). This year we played Dance Dance Revolution on their Wii and I'm pleased to say I absolutely rule :-). (we are not mentioning that it was on beginner level...).
