Bush Bashing Greeting Card Section at Pharmacy

Sun Sep 18, 2005 at 07:11:46 PM PDT

My Bronx mother-in-law just told me that she and my father-in-law came upon a greeting card section in one of their local pharmacies entitled "Bush Bashing".  (They live in Riverdale, and couldn't remember which pharmacy they were in, perhaps Eckardts or CVS).

This is unheard of in my experience, and far more indicative of Bush's falling popularity than the Rasmussen poll. Update [2005-9-18 22:14:12 by cafl]:One of the cards contained the joke I have now received in email multiple times: >Q: What is George W. Bush's position on Roe vs. Wade? > >A: He really doesn't care how people get out of New Orleans.

[update]AP chronology is misleading

Sat Sep 03, 2005 at 02:10:31 PM PDT

[Update...the AP numbers seem to be erroneous. There is less here than meets the eye. See below.] To answer the commenter's question in my original post of "who dispatched the National Guard]?" I began Googling. Now I doubt the 10,000 number in the AP chronology story I quoted.

Auxiliary data to FOIA

Mon May 30, 2005 at 10:17:50 PM PDT

To help Susanhu, here are two tables merging the data from the AP FOIA documents and from CagePrisoners.com. The tables sort the data together to assist in finding names common to the two lists. Each contains the name, country, photo link and FOIA document data somewhat cleaned up and sorted together. If the row has an entry in the Photo column it came from CagePrisoners. Otherwise it came from the AP site, where not all names had matching FOIA documents.

  1. By name and then country.
  2. By country and then name.

[UPDATE: This is fixed now]Tables
