Wes Clark and Amy Goodman at the 92nd St. Y

Wed Feb 28, 2007 at 10:06:50 AM PDT

I was fortunate enough to see Wes Clark interviewed by Amy Goodman at the 92nd St Y in NYC last night.  He was, as usual, wonderful, knowledgeable and brutally honest.

He and his lovely wife Gert met with a small group of supporters before the event.  Wes spoke to us and answered questions for about half an hour.  He told us how much we all meant to him. He took questions, of course, about a potential ’08 run but said nothing committal, only that he’s trying to turn the conversation to a discussion of the issues and doesn’t know if it can be done.  Running for President was too much about celebrity, he said.

Wes Clark on Iran

Thu Feb 01, 2007 at 02:10:40 PM PDT

Anyone who hasn't been paying close attention want to know what Wes Clark’s been saying regarding Iran over the last couple of years?  I went hunting for something and sort of got lost in the WesPAC archives and ended up with a whole lot of stuff.

Considering how scary this whole Iran thing is and how Bush and some others seem to be ramping up the rhetoric regarding the "threat of Iran" more and more all the time, I just thought I’d throw a lot of these quotes together in one place....

So, here are just some of the things Wes has said about Iran.  Contrast with what some of the other 2008 candidates have been saying or not saying, if you wish.

Wes Clark Wows Vegas and Texas!

Sun Jun 11, 2006 at 12:59:58 PM PDT

Wow! Wes Clark had some 24 hours!

Appearing at YearlyKos and throwing a party there Thursday night, speaking on the Science Panel there early Friday morning and then firing up the crowd at the Texas State Democratic Convention Friday night...and, by all accounts, wowing them everywhere he went.

Some of my favorite comments, and links to videos, on the flip...
