Did you know that John Edwards is going all the way to the convention. I knew. Apparently, lots of reporters and the mainstream are just finding out. Slow as usual.

Y'all know about Edwards media blackout right?  Well apparently he's had enough! It's about time too.

The sprint to the end had begun! We all know that Edwards is workaholic. He's worked very hard for this nomination. He came prepared with plans, ideas, goals and ATTITUDE. This dude knows how to fight. He has been outspent by millions and millions of dollars by two celebrity candidates and he's STILL in the race. That goes to a testament of how strong his message is and how much people are to take their country back. AGGRESSIVELY. He didn't come to the table as entrenched insider and he brought a lot more than something and flighty and wishy-washy than hope. He came prepped with the plans and the fight to actually give REAL hope to millions of Americans.

Every once in while, in my roaming and readings I come across interesting articles and blogs that should be highlighted. I think at least. Today, I read two referencing Edwards fighting theme.

Anyway, on to the articles...

Y'all know about the HUGE 527s bullshit controversy by now I imagine. If you don't here's a briefer.

1. Union groups (corrupt bastards at the SEIU) formed 527 to support Edwards with radio & television ads

2. Obama moaning because, well, they didn't pick him.

3. Obama start attacking Edwards asking him to, um, COORDINATE, with the 527s and stopping the ads because they don't support Obama.  Which of course, Edwards can't, because, hey, it's ILLEGAL.

Edwards' closing it out. HARD. The poor dude is doing, get this, 38 counties in 8 days. Coffee by IV anyone? Lord. Can you imagine! Those counties better be mighty close to each other.

Chrys, that's more than 1/3 of all the counties of Iowa. You know, I've suspected for sometime now that Edwards is a Cylon. With the looks, the longevity, never-ending nonstop working! Hmmmmm **Shaking fists at the delays for BSG!**

Things are pretty lite at work and I just watched the new Edwards  video to Rural Americans and wow! This is a powerful piece. Last night my EENR included an article on Edwards aiming for the gut and this video goes straight there. It also pings the heart and niggles the head.

This article, though covered in EENR last night, clued me into the potential effect of this video. This comment from a Richardson supporter sent me searching....

I don't know why I'm writing this diary. I've been scanning round the blogs and reading the happenings and the arguments, this, that, whatnot. Today is apparently the Oprah-Obama media event. So I'm like, alright, okay. More celebrity driven crap. Next. But as I'm reading around, in the arguments for and against the Oprabama media fantastiganza, I keep reading, that as a supporter of another candidate, I'm either .....

2. Eating "sour grapes"

......over something I don't give a crap about, which of course is why I hesitated writing this diary. So why write it if I really don't care?
