With the big blogbrawl over NARAL and the RI Sen endorsement, maybe it's not a good time to talk about abortion and the democratic agenda.  Oh well!

In his Tuesday article in the Washington Post (5/17), E.J. Dionne Jr. wrote a profile of a centrist democrat, Thomas Suozzi, the Nassau County Executive.  He focused on Suozzi's "centrist" views on abortion.  I put centrist in quotes, because, though his view is, in some senses, a middle of the road view, it seems like, for the purpose of a legislative agenda, it aligns with what Democrats should be doing and is incompatible with what Republicans want to do.
