Senate Republicans: Tax Credit = "Tax Increase"

Senate Republicans have successfully filibustered legislation to provide tax credits for the research and development of technology and renewable energy. Their pretended objection is that an offset to pay for this is a "tax increase". My problem with this is that it's disingenuous.

The hill-troll reaches of the blogisphere have been buzzing with an idea by the fools over at the Confluence, where they have decided that they should form a new party, P.U.M.A.-- which stands for "Party Unity My Ass".
Do they know that another word for puma is a cougar? And do they know what a cougar is, and why it might be considered misogynist when applied to Hillary's supporters?

According to a new poll, being reported by the Chronicle:
By 51-42 percent, registered voters said they believed same-sex marriage should be legal in California. Only 28 percent favored gay marriage in 1977, when the Field Poll first asked that question, said Mark DiCamillo, the poll's director.

Although no political candidate can control all of his or her supporters, this primary season has made it quite clear that they now have a responsibility to "denounce and reject" those whose rhetoric, actions or positions are unacceptable.

Hey, anyone out there with Bill Clinton's phone number? Someone needs to give him a call and remind him that he's a Democrat, and that he's supposed to be out there campaigning for Democratic Party candidates, not Republicans.
