Catch-22

I'm sitting her listening to Michael Eric Dyson and Pat Buchannan discuss Barack's catch 22 where the Muslim population is concerned in this country. I don't know all that they said in detail because my washing machine is too loud to catch every word. But my question remains, in a land where we have freedom of religion, what is the problem?

The news of the day is designed to put us in an uproar over Obama's earlier campaign positions. How he has 'flip flopped'on NAFTA and public campaign financing. But Obama on either occasion never wrote in stone what he would do. All he did was express his dismay at the lopsidedness of NAFTA and the negative affects America has faced since it's been in place. He never said he'd abolish it. He just said he's actually read it and would tweak it to put America in a more equitable position. Obama also never said he unequivocally would rule for public camaign finance. He said he was in favor of it and would revisit it if he were the nominee, with his opponent.

for all of this overemphasis on non issues, mispeaks, pandering, and low information category rhetoric, we can't seem to tear ourselves away from because it's become daily sport to read and watch the news for information on the campaign trails.
The experiential kind though, so one doesn't fool himself. Woe to the person who continually fools himself anyway.

What's been going on in this nation is not only a problem Americans face. I'm talking about this atmosphere where what the people want is being trumped by the Bush administration, in favor of their New World Order ideas. Running the world like a business. To have the elite group (business men, politicians, special interest, churches, etc) oversee all the laymen all over the world and keep them in slavery mode, producing primarily for the benefit of the upper echelons. There's a story in The Nation this morning about it:
