Republicans are up to their dirty tricks. Here in New Mexico, the Republican party is calling non-republican voters and telling them the wrong voting places.

The State Dem Party has filed a lawsuit preventing the repubs from calling dems before the election, the emergency court hearing is today.

The number of calls made to dems and some greens was around 35,000. That may not sound like a lot but with the Madrid-Wilson race in CD-1 going down to the wire even 1000 votes could mean the difference.

I live in Albuquerue and am glad to finally see a democrat winning in this blue democratic district.

A poll released by SurveyUSA today has put th erace at 53% for Madrid, 45% Wilson. Wilson has been representing the district since 1998 where she replaced Republican Steve Schiff who died of cancer. Wilson is one of those Die-hard bush supporters, although she claims shes "independent, honest and effective" lol.
