Hillary and NAFTA

Back in the 90's I was extremely upset with the Clinton Administration for their pushing of the NAFTA agreement. You see, I was an engineer that designed large electric motors in the range from 1 horsepower to 15,000 horsepower. The company that I will not name was and is one of the worlds largest electrical manufacturers, employing hundreds of thousands worldwide.
ABC memo reveals Air America advertiser blacklist
Tue Oct 31, 2006 at 02:43:01 PM PDT
I just stumbled across this at Media Matters. It appears that Corporate America is showing their true political colors. I apologize for the shotness and lack of my own comments, but I thought this was REALLY interesting and wanted to get it on here before I run home from work.
An internal ABC Radio Networks memo obtained by Media Matters for America, originally from a listener to The Peter B. Collins Show, indicates that nearly 100 ABC advertisers insist that their commercials be blacked out on Air America Radio affiliates. According to the memo, the adverstisers insist that "NONE of their commercials air during AIR AMERICA programming." Among the advertisers listed are Bank of America, Exxon Mobil, Federal Express, General Electric, McDonald's, Microsoft, Wal-Mart, and the U.S. Navy.
Here is a link to their story and the complete list of companies.
DemocRAT Party???
Mon Jun 19, 2006 at 02:00:55 PM PDT
Is it just me? I don't know if I'm just being sensitive or if Republicans are ramping up the use of negative terms to refer to Democrats for the upcoming election season. It seems like back during 2004, every time a right-winger named the opposition party they referred to it as the DEMOCRAT PARTY. After the elections, the usage seemed to fade, but maybe the sensitivity of my ears decreased a bit during a non-election year.
CBS' double standard
Fri Oct 07, 2005 at 02:31:36 PM PDT
I did a search and didn't see anything here at Kos on this topic. After reading on Mediamatters about the hit job that 60 minutes is planning to do on Bill Clinton this Sunday, I felt that this was something that should not go by without a response from the left Blogosphere.
Louis Freeh is going to be peddling his new book - "My FBI: Bringing Down the Mafia, Investigating Bill Clinton, and Fighting the War on Terror (St. Martin's Press)". And, it appears that 60 minutes is only interested in getting one side of the story.
Wesley Clark Takes it to Bill O'Reilly
Thu Jun 30, 2005 at 07:38:52 AM PDT
Last night "FOX Military Analyst" Wesley Clark made an appearance on the "No Spin Zone" with Bill O'Reilly. Mark Williams over at DEM bloggers was kind enough to post a clip of the interview. I watched the interview and it really took me back how batshit crazy O'Reilly appeared in an interview with a guy who stayed cool an on point.
