Sometimes I feel that US citizens must now do what Soviet citizens did for a few generations: read between the lines you're being fed and divine what the real news is for yourself.

Today, I just notice this featured  headline:   "Breaking Onion Satire"

Feeling incensed by Disney's involvement in ABC's "The Path to 9-11"? Don't you want to DO something, like attend a protest but don't live near Burbank?

Like you, I signed the petitions, I wrote the letters. I asked my family and friends to sign the petitions. But somehow I want to do more.  All of this ill-will they have stirred up in me--I want to "SEND IT BACK" to them.

My anger is deep. I feel betrayed by the Disney Corp. especially when I look around the house. I have a 6 year old and even though I never intended to, we have a house full of Disney branded merchandise.

That we paid money for. That Disney profited from.

Most of you are probably familiar with Bunnatine Greenhouse, the US Army auditor was fired after blowing the whistle  on no-bid contracts for Halliburton.

She seems like the kind of experienced bureaucrat needed to get to bottom of the Katrina disaster.

What IS this about?  AG "Torture" Gonzales announcing that:

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- More than 10,000 fugitives from justice have been captured in a nationwide, weeklong dragnet involving federal, state and local authorities, said the U.S. Marshals Service, which led the effort.

So, they knew where 10,000 fugitives were and they waited to go out and get them til press conference week? Does this replace the previous modus operandi of  'raise the terror alert?'
Is this part of a campaign for the Patriot Act or to avert our attention from The Bugman?
