The GOP and the MSM have oft repeated the phrase that the US Attorneys "serve at the pleasure of the President". Let us not forget that the USA are public servants paid by the taxpayers. They are not the President's servants, they serve the taxpayers.

The mechanics of propaganda are well laid out in Mein Kampf. Not that I ascribe to those mechanics, more than I'm leary of people who use those mechanics and people who respond to those mechanics.  

You see around you in the world and even on this site, people who feel they know the right answers and the right way to do things.  Let me put you all on notice, if your argument is how you feel, you have no argument (from my point of view). George Bush also feels what is right so that should give you some inkling of the quality of feeling as a key decisionmaking process. Feeling should not be abandoned, it should merely be put into place as something like a tiebreaker when all other things are equal.
