I have always loved all of Steve Perry's work and Journey, so to get this thing kicked-off, I nominate Faithfully.

A mere handful of people read my diary yesterday, "Freedom is not just another word for nothing left to lose" thus illustrating, if not proving my case that America is on life support, heading for the grave if we do not act immediately to change our mindset of blind adherence to authority.

An enemy is one who wages a two-fold war against your mind with propaganda and brainwashing and against your physical body with the intent to harm, maim, kill, subjugate, conquer, control, or enslave you and all of your substance. This enemy whereof I speak, is totalitarianism, despotism, police state, and slavery. Call it by whatever name or label you wish. They all result in freedom's suffocation, starvation and death. I read once, "funny how people get peaceful once dead".

If our Congress' capitulation to Bush is supposed to somehow sate his thirst for total power over us, and if by surrendering or acquiescing to his demands we are to believe that by scrapping the 4th Amendment he will not make any more assaults against our Constitution, then we are truly dead. Surrender equates to the death of our republic-and us, just a surely and as quickly as standing in front of a firing squad.

And all the rationalizing away of the consequences of the FISA capitulation and saying, "we'll get him next year" when Obama takes office is a copout, and well, it's simply living in a dream world or alternate reality. It shows a total ignorance of the lessons of past history. Follow my rant under the fold...

I remember growing up in the South in the 50's & 60's, in fact, I grew-up in the Capital of the Confederacy, in Virginia. Growing up, and still to this day, I still see bumper stickers that say, "the South shall rise again", "Lee surrendered-I didn't", and "Born American-Southern by the grace of God". We Dems didn't quite rise to the level of a real shooting Civil War during our primary season, but to say it wasn't a real war of words is an understatement, and wouldn't be facing reality. So I'm going to ask all of you to take a minute and answer this poll question, since our divisive primary wars are over, "Where do you stand today"?

Senator Lindsey Graham(R-SC). We know him very well, don't we? Well, I happened upon his senate web-site today to see what the old Bush neocon enabler was up to, and low and behold, he was in full attack mode against our presumptive nominee, Barack Obama. Grab a bag of popcorn and a cream pie(or cowpie) and follow me under the fold. You're going to love this one folks.

He is a liar, a liar who lied America into a war of aggression for a false mission in Iraq over 935 well-documented times. He is a murderer, a murdering war criminal, who has committed unspeakable war crimes and crimes against humanity in our names with impunity as one who has the blood of over 1.4 million innocent Iraqis, and over 4100 American soldiers on his hands-and ours by collusion and extension.

And nobody, but nobody has the courage, save a handful of brave Congress members on our side to impeach these bastards! He has proven himself, by his own words, deeds, and hands that he is a scourge on this Republic, a parasite on our treasury, the undisputed Public Enemy #1 of our Constitution. Yet, "Mister 29%" continues to have his way with us, especially with the People's Body, the Congress, time and time again!

Inquiring minds want to know why, and exactly when did they crown him our King, while nobody was looking? More of my rant under the fold...

Well, don't ever let them do it! I'm sure you've heard that adage which says, "while the cat's away the mice will play". Disclaimer: If I'm not at my usual meticulous,sharp self please over-look me, because I'm now experiencing the after-effects of a morphine shot at the ER, and am taking a liquid elixir of hydrocodone/APAP 7.5/500mg, and the new and improved version of penicillin called Augmentin.

I almost died yesterday from an acute attack of peritonsillar cellulitis!

For all those who aren't academic scholars out there, i.e. physicians, nurses, and first let me say a hardy "huzzah!, huzzah!" to all those (often unthanked) medical professionals out there, I was almost killed by a simple case of tonsillitis(and trust me I'm not being hyperbolic at all in the least), but not for their expert and god-given gifts, ImpeachKingBushII wouldn't be here this morning writing all of you this BIG Thank You note!

Before You Call McCain a "Hero": Think about it.

A diarest wrote this statement in his diary last night and it angered me that a self-proclaimed "lifelong Democrat" could, in the light of the reality of the facts of the last 7 & 1/2 years, could utter these words. He was trying to tell us the right way to sell Obama to folks like him-or how not to sell Obama to folks like him. It sounded much more like he was trying to convince himself not to vote for McCain himself.  He writes:

"Quite frankly, I think John McCain's story is a lot more appealing. I don't agree with his political views, but I respect military service and I think he's the closest thing to an American hero on the national stage today. Don't ever try to equate anything in Barack Obama's background to being a Vietnam POW. I will automatically characterize you as not serious and not pay attention to another word out of your mouth".

I was born free and I intend to stay free! This Bush war criminal cabal will never break my will to remain free!

I wonder what would the world be like if all of our children were taught to question everything, and never to take anything at face value. I know I've always been the eternal skeptic, never accepting anything in this world at face value, and I have always questioned all "givens".
Trust is earned, never freely given. If someone says, "this is thus and so", I say "prove it". Because if anything that is claimed as a fact cannot stand-up to the light of day, then it is not the truth. And if it is not the truth, then it should never be accepted, no matter how many times the BIG LIE is told, and no matter much power the ones telling it thinks they have over us!

Howard Dean goes on further stating, "It's going to take some time to work that out because these candidates are really focused on these primary battles in ... Pennsylvania and West Virginia and North Carolina and so forth and so on," Dean told "Face the Nation" on CBS. "And so it's going to take some time to work this out. But I think we can work it out, and I want to work it out," he said.

But remember Obama's "the fierce urgency of now" as I explain the importance of ending the primary season sooner rather than later, under the fold...

Who among you will volunteer to be the last one to die on Bush's altar of war in Iraq? Or if you knew you would be the last one to die there, for which presidential candidate would you vote?

There isn't a breathing soul in America or in the rest of the known civilized world, who by now, doesn't know that Mister Bush's war of liberation, war on terror, and spreading democracy at the point of a gun in Iraq was based solely upon deliberate lies, otherwise known by we historians as propaganda. Just because it's an election year, and Bush is leaving office in 11 months, doesn't mean that he can't contiue to do more untold damage to our republic before he leaves--unless WE THE PEOPLE stop him!
