Florida, e-mail address public record? Plus chad on toll road lease vote.

Mon Apr 30, 2007 at 10:54:39 AM PDT

I used to help an even less digital than me realtor friend by looking up public info at Pasco County, Fl, tax collector site. (Actually, our tax appraiser posted property data online because tax collector kept making excuses. IMHO collector slow played us to keep his office's print fees rolling in.)
Today, I tried shortcut - added "impact fee."(Florida makes new buildings pay for infrastructure since we have no state income tax yet.) So, I don't know when things changed, or why, but this blockquote below is new (to me) WARNING posted in red.

Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public records. If you do not want your e-mail address released in response to a public-records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact this office by phone or in writing.

Wait, IMPACT FEES are to pay for INFRASTRUCTURE, like roads?  Follow my yellow brick road dollars and rant......

Subpoena Envy - PBS&J - Mel Martinez donorz. Pay a native guide.

Fri Mar 30, 2007 at 12:45:04 PM PDT

  R. Alexander Acosta clerked for Sam Alito. That's my hint to view with jaundice his 2006 move to Miami as new U.S.Attorney. Acosta's many Bush appointments tests my trustiness. (link later)
Interesting March '07 filing on Acosta's South Floria District's website is PBS&J campaign finance violations including donations to Sen. Mel Martinez. Possible connection? Contracts to build INDIAN housing when Martinez was head HUD.
DKos posts mused "what's up" with former lawyers in native American area of Dept. of Interior woven in U S Attorney tapestry? This may be a thread to pull. Maybe not. I'll post what I found so far, for use by others, before "publish or perish" deletes draft. It just killed my other "work in progress".

Banana republic, Chiquita, & White House Bushes

Thu Mar 15, 2007 at 12:19:30 PM PDT

A smoking banana in "banana republic?" Was flurry of document dump  meant to obscure? March 14, 2007, Chiquita to Pay $25 M in Terror Case.  My little DKos heart was beating fast.

AP story said   .......several unnamed high-ranking corporate officers paid about $1.7 million between 1997 and 2004 to the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia, known as AUC....The AUC has been responsible for some of the worst massacres in Colombia's civil conflict and for a sizable percentage of the country's cocaine exports. .... In addition to paying the AUC, prosecutors said, Chiquita made payments to the National Liberation Army, or ELN, and the leftist Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, as control of the company's banana-growing area shifted.

Bushwhack vote against Viet Vets and human rights

Sun Nov 12, 2006 at 10:51:16 AM PDT

I know our brains are dizzy with the enormous challenge of trying to undo massive damage already done to our rights, humanity, common sense, etc.  But the Bushplan is full steam ahead on enslaving as many humans as possible and cementing their real financial power. Our victory is a "blink" a "comma" in greedy world domination by very organized plutocrats.
My emotions are particularly stong on Vietnam because my neighbors, friends, families, and classmates bled or fled or tried and died under the manipulated impression that we could "save" helpless Vietnamese.  Aside from the lies which put us there, our blood spilled for a cause. Many are still paying the price mentally and physically.

Gates War Profiteer, FBI computer flop, bad votes

Fri Nov 10, 2006 at 04:58:28 AM PDT

Gates has been a member of the board of trustees of Fidelity Investments, and on the board of directors of NACCO Industries, Inc., Brinker International, Inc., Parker Drilling Company, Science Applications International Corporation, and VoteHere, a technology company which seeks to provide cryptography and computer software security for the electronic election industry.[13].

I tried to link the above paragraph from Wikipedia but can't seem to succeed. Also don't see any way to put it in blockquote?  It is worth leaving Kos to go find this graf, push each link for details, and then push [13] for the final added insult to injury of how and who he is linked to destroying our election process thru VoteHere company.

Homeless CAN VOTE, + USA dunking poem

Sun Oct 29, 2006 at 10:47:18 PM PDT

In good thread on commitment to poor, someone said HOMELESS CAN'T VOTE. YES THEY CAN!!!  Here's some data on HOW.  Nov. 04 I had to vote homeless. Link below to a site with state by state facts. Check your local officials for more.
My vote adventure, some homeless canvassing ideas, and a poem which may explain what all American "DUNKING" means to our AXIS OF WEEVILS.

Trick and Treat for candidates

Sat Oct 28, 2006 at 02:05:22 PM PDT

Handing out campaign literature WHILE we knock doors to "Trick or Treat" sounded good to me. Energy efficient!
Since trick or treat is usually neighborhood, we know the local issues.   So I thought, why don't we each create a ONE PAGE sheet of local issues written by ourselves.
Print it out and hand them to neighbors as a thank you for their "treat."
Include a reminder to vote. Keep it short so it would be read. I felt like a genius until I started writing mine.
I'm pasting my PAGE ONE below. It's not final draft.  I have 3 more pages. And time's up. There is no short way.  They have done too much harm. I give up. Take brochures. Steal any ideas of mine you could use.  Kiss the children.

Frame NJ ruling -- 1,500 species homosexual . What's unnatural NOW?

Thu Oct 26, 2006 at 03:51:39 AM PDT

Don't despair. PREPARE. Uproar about New Jersey legal decision upholding equal rights for gay couples? Truth in science just made whole religious debate MOOT.
Reuters October news worldwide on  museum exhibit titled "Against Nature" in Europe.  Many links on web. One below.  Read several -- more info in some than others.
DOUBLE WHAMMY. Science SHOWS HOW WRONG the far right has been.   (Conflation of pedophilia, cherrypicking and distorting bible quotes.)

School Vouchers create Madrassas here

Mon Oct 23, 2006 at 02:50:00 PM PDT

I note "school vouchers" are on several state ballots.
I beg every sane voter to fight vouchers, privatizing, "scholarships" initiative tooth and nail.
It is perhaps the most evil part of treating your state as a target of corporate raiders, stealing your tax paid assets for personal greed.
The goal (other than money)is to brainwash our children. To RESEGRATE them by race, class, handicaps, and most importantly by religion.
