Petition for Clinton to Release Her Tax Returns
Tue Mar 11, 2008 at 02:36:40 PM PDT
An online petition has been started asking for Senator Clinton to release her tax returns. You can sign
here.
Her campaign has promised to release the returns
on or around April 15.
We need to keep the pressure on her campaign to release the returns as soon as possible, no later than April 15.
We also need to keep pressure on the media to question Clinton about the delay of the release.
Clinton Campaign's "Path to the Presidency" memo

Obama has not won and will not be the winner of the primaries until his party chooses him to be the nominee!! While it's fine for everyone to continue to look at the numbers and do the math, this is still a very tight race and if you think that Clinton's campaign isn't going to pull out all of the stops to try and regain the superdelegate lead, you are not paying attention.
While the wins in Texas and Ohio could be translated into a wash, because Obama came back from 20 points behind and made the race competetive and the delegate count remains basically unchanged, the spin and momentum is HUGE! Let's examine a few quotes from Clinton's strategy memo and read the entire memo here: http://thepage.time.com/...
Toxic Katrina Trailers. Never Again.
Thu Feb 21, 2008 at 11:37:16 AM PDT
This story was reported last week and even though it has taken me a week to write this diary, I felt it was important to recognize that there are people along the Mississippi and Louisiana Gulf Coast who are still suffering and will continue to suffer from Hurricane Katrina and the after effects of the storm and of government failures.
In a joint press release by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and FEMA on Feb. 14, it was announced that Hurricane Katrina refugees living in FEMA trailers were urged to move out of the trailers due to high levels of formaldehyde fumes.
What Could Have Been

For six years there has been one party that has had the power to make positive changes in this country.
For six years they have had control of the White House and Congress.
For six years they could have been working on catching Osama Bin Laden, corporate corruption, health care for all, energy independence, creating a government free from the power of lobbyists, poverty, making our country safer, implementing recommendations from the 9-11 Commission Report, balancing the budget, raising minimum wage, insurance reform, unifying a divided country, creating a plan to withdraw from a war that was started on false premises, and inspiring and challenging the American people.
Often times, great things happen in a single moment. A word is spoken, an action is taken that changes the course of history. This Republican controlled government has had six years to achieve greatness. All that power
and nothing to show for it.
Pathetic.
Vote Democratic.
The Republican Base is Alive and Well.

I have a case of the pre-game jitters. We've all worked hard, we've all donated time and money, and yet, with ever present memories of the 2000 and 2004 elections, I feel that we haven't done enough. We have to continue our get out the vote effort. Make phone calls, go door to door, write a letter to your local newspaper. I live in an area that is solidly Republican. I read comments every day in my local paper about the peril our country would be in should the Democrats take control of Congress. I am NEVER comfortable with polls predicting Democratic gains in any office because I see and hear the strength of the Republican base every day.
