"Gas Tax Holiday" would do no good for Nevadans

Both Sens. McCain and Clinton have endorsed a gas tax holiday from Memorial Day to Labor Day in the US. This would shave 18.4 cents off the price of every gallon of unleaded.
There has been a lot of debate on the tax holiday - if it is just pandering to voters or if it'll make a difference and how much it would actually save the average individual, if that amount would do any good, and whether it was worth giving up the revenue to build and maintain highways.
This morning's Las Vegas Review Journal points out the laws of the state of Nevada would mean that the residents of this state would see no relief.
