Yesterday, Richard Jewell (44) was found dead in his home in Woodbury, Georgia.  He had been ill with diabetes and kidney failure since February.  His death was ignored by CBS and covered as follows by ABC, CNN, and NBC[1]:

Eric over at Wampum has an in memorium post up with a partial list of Mr. Gilliard's "Colonial Warfare" Series.  I remember this series as particulary informative and so I went to re-read it.  I discovered some broken links and went into OCD mode looking up correct links and additional chapters.
