Geller (Hillary) files suit to sit FL delegates

Thu May 22, 2008 at 11:00:02 AM PDT

For those who had some doubt that Senator Clinton was planning a "scorched earth" approach up to and including the convention this news may remove those doubts. According to the St Pete Times State Senator Geller has filed a lawsuit which is designed to force the DNC to sit all Florida's delegates.  Judge Roy Bean The link language is a snippit from the article. I believe it is representative of the tone of Clinton/Geller lawsuit.

Allstate capitulates  on Coulter

Fri May 04, 2007 at 10:25:26 AM PDT

Over the last two days VolvoDrivingLiberal has encouraged the daily Kos community to contact companies that advertise on Ann Coulter's. Although I believe our efforts are better served developing a stronger grassroots system to ensure the election of Democrats to office, I recognized that it only takes moments to contact an advertiser for what truly is a worthy cause, so as an Allstate policy holder I emailed the company via the link provided by VolvoDrivingLiberal.

Mark Twain, Meteor Blades, O Henry, clammyc

Pseudonyms, pen names, nom de plumes, screen names. The names that populate Daily Kos. Okay, some of the writers listed in the title do not regularly contribute to the discourse here. But you're here now so play, if you would.

How and why did ya'll choose the name you use here at Daily Kos? Some of you old timers, insiders and maybe a few cyber stalkers may know why Lithium Cola uses that name and/or the frequency with which said drink is drunk. And DemFromCT; is he really from Connecticut or is he hiding from authorities for prescribing lithium cola? Hey, let us newcomers in on the dark secrets.

Fla. Q Poll--Giuliani tops Clinton, Edwards, Obama. NO!

Wed Apr 04, 2007 at 05:57:03 AM PDT

Florida, with a huge number of electoral votes and a history of controversial election results is clearly a key state in determining the outcome of the '08 Presidential election. Yes Katherine Harris and Jeb! are no longer the Secretary of State and governor, but the legislature, governorship and much of the judicial branch is in control of the Republican party. This means two things, ready endorsements for the Republican nominee and control of vote counting. The poll results and random thoughts follow.

"Think Dan Quayle in cowboy boots."

The Victor Gold rollover has been discussed thoroughly here at Daily Kos and other sites. I do not know if his words truly mean anything at this point. Just as the Bush administration has done on other occasions, including this week in which it attacked Matthew Dowd, it will likely attempt to marginalize Gold and then totally ignore the "sweet words of wisdom."

Bill Bradley shoots, scores

Mon Mar 26, 2007 at 06:43:49 AM PDT

Bill Bradley talked about his new book, The New American Story, yesterday on Meet The Press. I have not read it yet, but I intend to do so based on this single quote, "...we can solve our problems—whether it’s health care, education, there’s reforming democracy—if we put country ahead of party and we tell people the truth...."
