Seating Delegates and Reforming the Primary Calendar.

Fri Jan 25, 2008 at 11:33:31 PM PDT

Many Kossaks have expressed discontent, resentment, anger, unhappiness, irritation, loathing, hostility, and frustration with the current primary calendar and particularly with the exalted roles of Iowa and New Hampshire. We don't like it.  It's not fair, it's not democratic, and it's not effective in winning national elections.

Various alternative systems or calendars have been proposed.  This diary is not about proposals to reform the system.  This diary is about how this year's convention will either strengthen the move for a more democratic Party, or shoot it in the foot.
