This is going to be an ongoing series of diaries about the tragic loss of the American Dream. As I wrote yesterday, we are losing; if not lost, our American Dream.
The American Dream is belief in the freedom that allows all citizens and residents of the United States to achieve their goals in life through hard work. It was a phrase best coined by James Truslow Adams in his 1931 book The Epic of America.
Hello folks! It is once again Caturday!! Since I didn't see a diary made for it yet, I took it upon myself to make one. Share your Pooties, Woozles or anything else that strikes your fancy.
This is just the place to unwind from the horrible reality we call our world.
Good morning fellow Pooties. Here we have today, the day that the FISA Bill will voted upon by our Congress. And believe you me, the pooties aren't happy.
Live Earth was held on 7/7/07, and what has been accomplished since then? Not very much, especially since it’s only been a week, but that really isn’t the reason for this diary.
My true reason for this diary is because for the very first time, I got to go to Yellowstone Park the other day. As soon as I got into the Park, I saw the most magnificent thing. I saw a Bald Eagle in her nest. I was awe-stricken.
I wanted today to be the day to make my very first diary a tribute to Al Gore and EVERYONE who is involved in Live Earth.
Without the support of all the bands, contributors, and TV/Internet sponsors, this message would not be out today. I want to personally thank every single individual who participates in Live Earth. Not just for me; that would be to arrogant and self-centered, but for our future generations....My son, his children and his children’s children, also for everyone on this planet’s children.
