New group: Concerned Republicans for American Presidency

As Senator Clinton continues to try to run the Democratic party into the ground, Senator McCain is getting ignored by the press, as many of you have pointed out.  This is really quite problematic; while we're pleased that the left has offered us their refreshing take on the trigger-happy neocon (yes, you, Hillary), that's not good enough*.  We've been ignoring our own trigger-happy neocon, and electing the wrong one could be dangerous to the future of the country.

With this in mind, while we're waiting for the Clinton campaign to finish self-destructing, I'd like to propose the following actions to get the word out to the general public about where the Straight Talk Express really leads.

There has been some talk on DK lately over the effectiveness of street protests, especially since it seems that the current administration blithely ignore what the people want.  However, after attending one for the first time yesterday, I believe they still have merit and can still be an important tool (albeit not the only tool) for change.

To show how, I offer my own experience.

Fri Oct 12, 2007 at 01:43:09 PM PDT
