Bill Hedrick (CA-44) on the Radio: THURSDAY MORNING

Wed Aug 20, 2008 at 09:40:57 AM PDT

Greetings from the CA-44.

We have a race here, folks. Bill Hedrick, the Democratic nominee for Congress, is running against the odious Ken Calvert.

Calvert, who's been ensconced in the seat since 1992, is your classic Bush Rubber Stamp, an has been named by CREW (Citizens For Responsibility and Ethics in Washington) as one of the 22 most corrupt members of Congress.

Please follow me over the fold to learn more about Bill and how you can help his campaign...

Hillary Needs to Listen to Her Old Billy Joel Records

Sun Apr 13, 2008 at 06:38:40 PM PDT

I’m sure that somewhere in the Clintons' house in Chappaqua, there is a dusty basement storeroom where old, unused items are stored in sealed boxes.

Well we're living here in Allentown
And they're closing all the factories down
Out in Bethlehem they're killing time
Filling out forms
Standing in line.

Some of those boxes contain the Clinton’s old vinyl record collection. Some light jazz, lots of folk rock from the late sixties and early seventies (Judy Collins—they named Chelsea after the song “Chelsea Morning”), and tapering off through the late seventies and early eighties, when they were probably too busy to spend a lot of time buying and listening to records.

11:00 PM News: Nataline Sarkisyan

Sun Dec 23, 2007 at 11:19:14 PM PDT

I apologize for the hit and run diary, but I know many people here have been following the travesty that is Nataline Sarkisyan's death.

It will be of interest to many here to know that the story was second on tonight's 11:00 o'clock news on KCBS-TV in Los Angeles. The lead story was a robbery in Long Beach, and was only around 30 seconds.

The segment on Nataline and her story was considerably longer. Perhaps it would have led the broadcast if not for the incident in Long Beach.

A little more on the flip.
