A new video has been produced to inspire the Latinos to vote for Obama! It's great timing for the primary in La Isla del Encanto - Puerto Rico.

Today was a very big day in Los Angeles for many people either renouncing their citizenship or adding yet another one. There were a lot of people in the LA convention Center and there were a lot smiles, tears of joy, a lot of small flags being raised, a lot flashes going off, people selling special covers for the new certificate, and a lot of traffic. As if traffic is not an issue in LA!

This afternoon I received an automated call about the INS being in the Berkeley area. WTF is the INS doing in Berkeley out of all places?

My child informed me today that for an exercise in class they looked at the Obama speech on race - 'A More Perfect Union'
I must admit that I was not happy that the teacher had done this; join me after the fold for details.

This is my first diary and I will cheat a bit given that the content of this diary does not come from me; it comes from my daughter. Besides, her writing is way better than mine! She wrote this letter on February 12th. She is excited because come November, she will have the opportunity to vote for her first time.
