Party Funds Blatantly Misspent! Have You Seen It Before?
Fri Jul 25, 2008 at 05:21:51 PM PDT
An amazing thing has happened in Delaware. A decision was made to divide the Democratic Party. Funds were misspent, and tempers have flared. This week, the Delaware Democratic Party came to the conclusion that it was acceptable to use donations, given to the party to defeat Republicans, to instead defeat a fellow Democrat. It was an action that has all Delawareans talking.
Obscene, Absurd, Unconcionable! Help Jack Markell Now, More Than Ever!
Thu Jul 24, 2008 at 01:19:59 PM PDT
Delawareans up and down the state were thrilled to see, that for the first time in decades, they would have a choice in a Democratic Primary. As a fifteen year old, I had never lived to see a competitive gubernatorial primary in my state. When Jack Markell made his intentions clear that he was running for governor, the folks on the inside, the people behind closed doors got nervous. They said it wasn't his turn. Wait for the next cycle. Thankfully, Jack Markell stood up, he stood up for you, and he stood up for me. He stood up for a brighter future for all Delawareans, and against all odds he has waged a campaign not based on who's next in line, but who has the best ideas to move the state forward.
At 15, I saw the plight of the average American upclose for the first time... It broke my heart.

I know to many of you this may not be important. I understand the vast majority of you are not from Delaware, but please there is a great story below! As a fifteen year old interested in politics, but with a very limited access to help, I came across a true diamond in the Diamond State. Take a look!
For the past several weeks I have become deeply involved in a political campaign. While it may not be one many of you are familiar with, it is one that has great meaning, and great importance. It will decide whether my home state, Delaware, will move back into the forefront of our nation's greatest states. I am proud to say that I am an avid supporter and volunteer for Jack Markell.
Barack Obama and Jack Markell-- Very Similar Indeed!
Fri Jul 11, 2008 at 03:23:09 PM PDT
Everyone is talking about the need to change Washington, and that Barack Obama is the man to do so. He himself is change. He is someone new. I don't disagree with a word of that! Barack Obama is exactly what this country needs. But one thing I have to say is that we need to change state-by-state as well. This year Delaware will have its first competitive primary in well over a decade, and we will have a choice between more of the same, or something new. Our governor, Ruth Ann Minner, is just about as popular as George Bush is nationally as she is locally. While she is a Democrat, she has stood up for all the wrong things. Now, her Lt. Gov., John Carney is running to replace her as she is constrained by term limits. He just thought he was going to walk away with the nomination and the election. Well, he didn't account for the groundswell of support for a man few thought would even run. A few short months ago he was being pressured by the insiders not to run. Thankfully, against all odds Jack Markell has waged a campaign for all Delawareans, and all Americans as he joins Barack Obama in his message of Change!

Biden to Mukasey: "You Really Are an Enigma to Me"
Thu Jul 10, 2008 at 10:41:47 AM PDT
Amongst all the furror over the passage of FISA yesterday few took note of a hearing the Judiciary Committee held with Attorney General Mukasey. It was a hard-hitting serious of questions about a wide variety of issues. From politicization, to torture memos, to hiring and firing practices, and selective prosecution many good Senators asked many good questions. For the most part however Mukasey was evasive. No one could pin him down. That was however, until Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE) got his turn.
So... What do you think about a Vice-President Biden?
Tue Jul 08, 2008 at 02:12:04 PM PDT
Well, it was a year and a half ago that I stood with Sen. Joe Biden in his presidential bid. I stood with him to end this war, bring about alternative energy resources, end the immigration crisis and genocide in Darfur. I stood with him to bring about health care reform and college affordability. I felt so strongly that he was best fit to lead this nation, and bring about the improvements we so desperately need. Unfortunately, only about 3% of you agreed. In fact just 1% of you in Iowa felt as I did. And I won't lie, it was a tough, sad day when I watched my hero, my idol, my role model drop of of the race. But I understood the time had come to rally behind Sen. Obama because he now is the best Democrat to lead America! Now I ask you, how many of you agree with me today? An Obama-Biden ticket is the way to go!
McCain "Rough Up" Nicaraguan Says GOP
Wed Jul 02, 2008 at 12:13:00 PM PDT
Yup, that's right, more and more stories of McCain and his hot temper are coming out. And once again it's a Republican sharing the camp-fire tales. Thad Cochran, the Republican Senator from Mississippi tells a story of McCain grabbing an Ortega aide by the collar and lifting him out of his chair. The best part about all this, is that this occurred on a "diplomatic mission" If that's McCain's idea of diplomacy, I'm afraid of what he'll do with a Iran! Take a look:
Reform. Prosperity. Peace???

Yes, that is in fact John McCain's new saying. It's on his signs. It's in his ads. This man truly is delusional.
So Long to a Vice-President Biden...
Sun Jun 15, 2008 at 01:34:34 PM PDT
This morning on Fox News Karl Rove told Chris Wallace that not only should Joe Biden be put on Obama's short-list for Vice-Presidential choices, but that Sen. Biden should be chosen. This is a huge blow for supporters of Joe, like myself.
Car Wash For Peace!
Tue Jun 10, 2008 at 05:25:37 PM PDT
I, like all of you, am sick and tired of turning on my television to hear that another American soldier has died in Iraq. I've grown tired of seeing the death toll in Darfur rise, and the suppression of Tibetan monks continue. It is high time for someone to take a stand, and to end these atrocities. The time has come for a "Car Wash For Peace"!
African AIDS Treatment
Sat May 31, 2008 at 05:49:07 AM PDT
PEPFAR, a AIDS treatment bill passed five years ago is now up for debate as both the Senate and House consider reauthorizing the legislation. Five years ago there was a spending mandate. This bill said that 55% of the 15 million dollars allocated must be spent on treatment. In the process of re-authorization, this has spurred rigorous debate.
My thoughts, my feelings, condensed yet unfettered...
Mon May 26, 2008 at 01:51:18 PM PDT
For some reason I was compelled to write a short passage. I have been overwhelmed as of late with thoughts and questions. I have become increasingly philosophical and for that, as a fourteen year old submerged in thought I have written this:
My conversation with Delaware's Attorney General
Wed May 21, 2008 at 03:02:58 PM PDT
Today, Delaware's Attorney General Beau Biden, visited my school to discuss internet security. I have met the man once before and liked him very much. Being that he is Joe Biden's son I took the liberty of asking a few political questions...
The Reason Why I Love Joe Biden!
Mon May 19, 2008 at 05:58:00 PM PDT
I fully understand that Joe Biden may not be perfect, and we may not all love him, but I ask all of you to weigh all of his pros and cons. Truly think about what he stands for and why he ought to be our next Vice-President!
"Joined at the hip" says Biden of McCain and Bush
Tue Apr 15, 2008 at 05:34:30 PM PDT
Today, at Georgetown University, Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware gave the cold should to John W. McBush. Biden, a long critic of the Bush foreign policy, made it clear that McCain would be nothing more than a third Bush term.
Elton John Turns on Hillary at Fundraiser!
Wed Apr 09, 2008 at 05:33:12 PM PDT
For all of you who saw yesterday's video of "Obama's Everywhere", you are in for another treat tonight. Here's a spin off from "A Candle in the Wind". It is fantastic!
Greatest Video Ever! "Obama Everywhere!"

I found it on YouTube! I loved it! Much better than "Raining McCain"!
"This war must end!"-- The Democratic Radio Address
Sun Apr 06, 2008 at 07:42:17 AM PDT
With the death toll now exceeding 4,000 American lives, the time has come, though be it late, to end this war in Iraq. That was the precise message from Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware in this week's Democratic radio address.
