"one heckler" makes the CNN ticker...

Thu Jul 24, 2008 at 09:33:35 AM PDT

This 'attack' on Obama at the 'Wall' makes a little Diarrhea Diary on CNN's "Political Ticker" with this headline "Obama Heckled at Western Wall" on
http://www.cnn.com

This 'guy' is getting paid to actually go looking for a pimple on a duck's ass.

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com...

I see that they have shut off the "post comments". But if you find this as offensive as I do there is another way to let CNN know what you think of Alexander Mooney's offensive 'blogging'. Ya' gotta go higher, because he is the "Ticker" editor.

A "brewing conflict" for Hensley-McSame?

Mon Jun 23, 2008 at 02:13:43 AM PDT

Cindy, oh, Cindy what a shame.

Cindy Hensley McCain and her corporate jet have been in the news. We heard a publicity story about how McSame left the military to go into politics even after he was told he had been nominated for Rear Admiral [????]. But where was his first civilian job? VP of Public Relations for a Beer Co.

We watched John King, CNN accompany Cindy to Vietnam last week to highlight her charity work and do an interview. Cindy in baseball cap and polo shirt saying how she and her family were passionate about serving America. How PROUD she always is of HER country. She is just 'emotional' about it.

From the LA Times comes this story of possible conflict of interest. Hensley&Co., source of Cindy's wealth, is an Anheuser-Busch distributor/real estate owner. The wealth that is reported on her 'secret' tax returns mostly comes from here. Read about how this could be a major conflict of interest for the occupant of the WH:

McCellan testimony on MSNBC

Fri Jun 20, 2008 at 06:44:52 AM PDT

also on C-span 3

http://www.cspan.org

click on the watch link under Scottie's pic.

This more of a head's up than a diary, unless some of you want to live blog it.

Now, I need three hundred words to get this published and posted before the hearing begins.

Did I mention he is testifying to the Iraq/CIA leaks. John Conyers is about to speak.

Monica Novotny on MSNBC attacks Michele Obama

Mon Jun 09, 2008 at 11:18:15 AM PDT

How low can you go without crawling under Limpballs? Or is playing Middle School Face Book what they get paid to do?

This morning, maybe 9am edt, Monica had on two 'politidiots' to discuss the 'out-spoken' Michele. They all needed their pampers changed.

You know they began, the Obama campaign had to hire two Senior Advisers to just clean up after Michele's rants. Then they show the vid of Michele doing the 'for the first time in my life I'm proud of my country'.

Someone says that the voters just are not used to such a strong, well-educated woman speaking out.

When it's the young thing turn, she says that Hillary Clinton also did it. Hil was the FIRST to speak out like that. Probably thinking of the 'didn't choose to stay home and bake cookies' statement.

Obama has inspired us. "I'm asking you to believe"

Wed Jun 04, 2008 at 02:56:19 AM PDT

Believe in change. Yes we can.
THIS IS OUR TIME.

But Obama also tells us that the kind of change we seek will not come easily. Today is the first day that we can start that change.

Obama says we must keep faith with those who serve. It is a cornerstone of America. It is true patriotism.

John Edwards has called for fair and full funding for Veterans Affairs.

In the meantime, our Vets from all wars are homeless and being denied benefits by the scandalous VA managed by the usual Bushies. Suicides, etc. continue to soar from lack of apporpriate care. Today there is an important hearing.

Some of the heavy lifting has been done by VoteVets and CREW. They've got the "e-mail". They've got the hearing. They can use your support. YES YOU CAN

Got PTSD? Take 8 meds and go back to Iraq

Tue May 27, 2008 at 03:41:29 AM PDT

Sounds about like telling someone who is having a heart attack to take an Aspirin and call back in the morning.

Or how about first being afraid to ask for help when you had dreams of being choked at night. Followed by just feeling that you were brushed aside when you finally got the courage to seek that help?

The third story is one of a Vet dying of an over-dose while in a VA hospital. And there's more.

18 Vets EVERY DAY are committing suicide. I don't believe all of them are preventable. But, when the 'system' is playing

The question of 'force feeding' Myanmar [Burma]...

Wed May 14, 2008 at 02:12:26 AM PDT

Across the blogs I am hearing talk of the US Military 'invading' Myanmar by sending our Helicopters to drop aid directly to those in a humanitarian crisis there. This would require our military planes to cross into Myanmar airspace without permission.

The thought of these people trying to survive amongst the total devastation makes me want to 'rescue' them. Then I think of the consequences of such an act and my memory of the reaction of to US Military helicopters in Somalia, Vietnam...yada come to mind. Then thoughts of our troops already paying the price for other bad decisions, they will be welcomed as liberators, are ever present.

I think I may have found the birth of this idea. BANGKOK...

Edwards' interview on Larry King...

Tue May 13, 2008 at 12:26:08 AM PDT

He still is not giving an endorsement.

He speaks to the toughness of Hillary.

He speaks to the 'apparent win' by Obama. That he is a young, dynamic leader and that this campaign is making him a stronger candidate.

He discusses FL and MI.

He talks about his Poverty Initiative.

West Palm Beach or Baghdad? Firepower escalation

Mon May 05, 2008 at 06:39:52 AM PDT

Screw the ban of assault rifles. Right? We aren't talking a Turkey hunt here. Annie get your gun.

Blackwater is training local SWAT teams, sheriff, and police departments.

Southern California stood up and refused the building of a Blackwater training center, but now it seems they have already moved into a facility in San Diego.

In West Palm Beach the locals are being trained to use more fire power. Is it happening in your neighborhood?

This is a head's up to get you to vote for issues

Mon Apr 28, 2008 at 03:53:39 AM PDT

CNN's home page has a quick vote about Rev. Wright.
http://www.cnn.com
and scroll down. Right now "Divisive" is leading 2 to 1.

Have you say and vote.

Roberts just said that every time that they comment about Rev. Wright they get a bunch of OBAMA folks flooding their "Contact Us".

noweasels posts VA is burning and the ? of the National Guard readiness gets asks

Mon Feb 11, 2008 at 09:46:29 AM PDT

They've got our backs, but who has theirs?

Is VA burning? After the usual concern for People and animals, thoughts turn to drought, winds, cold, primaries and the ability of the National Guard to respond to such emergencies are in the comments.

Military readiness constantly is in the news. For a group who constantly proclaims that they Support the Troops and want to provide Homeland Security, a quick review shows so many shortfalls by Congress and the Executive.

Despite the 'closed door' policies of National Security, my first thought is that we are down to the Boy Scouts for such things as fires in VA and NC. But then I remember that Blackwater is available and well-equipped.

How scary? How sick? The world's only super power looking to MERCS. I really want to rant about this whole mess from Global Warming to MERCS, but I will stick to the state of the National Guard.

Do we talk Politics... or Progressive?

Wed Jan 30, 2008 at 03:29:00 PM PDT

JRE has suspended his campaign. The issues that drove many of us to support him are still as important as they ever were. In fact, they may become more important.

JRE supporters are important to both the Hil and the O campaign.

Divisiveness thy name is Losing Strategy. It is the fatal flaw that looses elections.

Fri Jan 18, 2008 at 05:13:18 AM PDT

I'm up and watchin' Starbuckle and Mika at a dinnah in Carolina. Of course, they're doin' the whole campaign coverage thing.

MSNBC and Tweety must be getting some nasty heat about the whole Hil and Misogyny thing. Mighty Joe-Joe thinks that all those Web Sites that are attacking are just a group Hillary supporters.

WOW, Mika and Pat Buchanan and that other guy think pushing on the spittle king is just really a form of Censorship.

1st Diary for me, I plagiarize to analyze

Thu Jan 17, 2008 at 03:51:28 PM PDT

Is this another Candidate pile on diary? Maybe. Or is it just a way for an angry DEM voter who wants to get direct answers about real issues to speak out?

Be still the angry voices of politicians doing the as usual. Seems to be enough hot air out there to launch balloons. What the Candidates don't do to themselves the M$M [DOM] will be happy to help them out.

Last week it was racist v. misogynist with the use of Diebold thrown in for spice. Today I am hearing Pres. Bill Clinton saying in a very hostile tone that he doesn't care about the Mortgage Crisis, but the rules of the game in NV. Damn dumb, doodles 'Cause Sir, I can't eat hope, and I my car doesn't run by putting experience in my Tank.

so, below I am using the slightly adjusted Poem of Eugene Fields "The Duel" to make a point. Guess I'm using it 'cause my G/pa loved it when the family started looking like, well, dysfunctional.
