Despite a growing chorus of individuals seeking to rehabilitate nuclear energy as some kind of panacea for global warming, I wish to warn my fellow Kossacks to not be taken in by this revisionist nonsense. Nuclear power is not the answer to our energy future and to suggest that it will be is, to put it kindly, not very "intelectually vigorous". Indeed, to suggest that nuclear power should be part of a comprehensive energy policy one must ignore huge unsolved problems with nuke plants and the fact that no insurance company will touch them. One must also ignore the fact that this energy is not renewable and one must ignore promising renewable alternative energy solutions. But, I guess sleep deprivation will do that...
