I think it is important in my first diary to detail my biases, so that should anyone interested in my 'history' here one day find it necessary to check up on me, they will be able to easily find out who I am and what I think.

I consider myself to be a Democrat so much so (I assume there are degrees of liberalism) that I would stoop to any political maneuvering within the confines of the law, no matter how depraved, in order to assure a Democrat is elected.  This in itself is a controversial issue, of course, but it is a measure of my devotion to liberal ideals that I am committed to getting Democrats elected.  I am a junior (20 years old) undergraduate student at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, majoring in "politics."  I do not plan on getting into politics as a profession in my future, but I do spend all of my day reading the news and contributing where I deem it necessary. (mostly drudge, politico, and kos - so this is often my only dose of reality)
