Hi Folks -- thought we might need a break from well, you know ---- as some of you also know, not only did I lose all my 6 years' worth of pootie pic collection a few weeks ago when my operating system crashed, and then I recently moved, so I'm a little late with Pootie's annual ice cream diary, but! I'm finally settling in, and found enuf pics for us.

Is it me, or is this place stuck on stupid!? I'm moving on Tuesday, so I'm mostly packing and cleaning, etc. -- we've all been there.  My 'little treat' is checking in here, and every darn time I do (w/few exceptions), this place Is Stuck On Stupid.

Ok, I'm thinking a fun pootie and doggie diary would help ---- and, yes, I'm selfish b/c I always enjoy them the most I think -- your comments are just the bestest.

I may not be the Hostess with the Mostess tonight, as I like to think I usually am, because I'm still working, albeit, winding down.

Ocassionally I'm inspired to do a derivative diary -- and thank those before me, for this lighthearted version.

First, the pooties vent:

Hi Folks! I thought a fun diary would hit the spot, but first I gotta tell you guys about a catastrope that befell Casa De Pootie recently ---- it's only now that I can even speak of it, and I'll give you the Reader's Digest version -- for you youngins, that means condensced version.  I was cleaning up my computer at the Windows website --- viruses, something, and the registry -- la, la, la, go to bed.  

The next day, I couldn't even log on -- oh oh.  I call Dell, who run a diagnostics and it's a bad as it gets -- the operating system is corrupted beyond repair.  My first thought (take a wild guess) - 'What about my pootie pics!!!!' Are they gone?? gasp, sputter -- the tech coughed and said, 'err, what are pootie pics?'  hehe!

Moving on, Dell couldn't have been better -- even though my warranty expired years earlier (it's a 2001 computer), they DHL'd me the necessary new disks, and we spent a couple of hours re-loading, etc.  

Hi Folks -- I was just hanging out tonight and ruminating -- yes, really! and realized it's been a few weeks since I posted a pootie and doggie, diary; I've spent many happy hours in those intervening weeks -- good, clean and fun-filled hours (for a change)  --- looking for fun pics for us ....

Hello Folks -- allow me to take just a moment to thank one, and all, for the kind reception upon my return --- such a warm welcome means more to me than I can adequately express in mere words -- so Hugz!!! all around :)

We need to take a good, long break to attend to health needs, and, God willing, we'll be back with a roar, and a purr! but until then, I do want to acknowledge the moment because so many of you have meant so much to me over these last 3? 4? years now --- but I'd never burn my whiskers by naming names! but, if your little ears are warm, yes, I'm thinking of you :)
