Definition of Hillary Clinton = Ignorant B**** w/poll
Sat May 24, 2008 at 10:45:18 AM PDT
Without going into any great detail, Hillary owns the word ignorant, first and foremost, not in the sense of being unintelligent, but in the way of ignoring the welfare of others. In the pejoratiive sense, Hillary is ignorant.
To merit the term "bitch" one has to act in a certain abrasive, aggressive, vindictive manner over time. I think she's earned it.
But together the words are damning. To be known as an ignorant bitch means you are done politically. You are in the process of losing friends and allies. You are without honor.
Hillary is Unsafe (or Making USA safe for democracy w/poll w/poll

Well there you have it. Add blackmail to the long list of Clinton initiatives this election cycle. Now it's done. Even more done than it was yesterday. Threats like this from Hillary are so lowball that Obama has to not only reject her request for VP, he also has to keep her as far away from the White House as possible. This Clintonian illness of by any means necessary is in fact what needs to disappear from Washington at this time. Goodbye Hillary. Goodbye Bill. You have no excuses. You did it to yourselves. You and your powerbroker elite friends will be crying in your coffee soon. So be it.
Man, you have no class.
Biden Rocks! w/poll
Thu May 15, 2008 at 03:55:25 PM PDT
So it took eight years of Bush II for someone in a relatively high profile position of power to come out and succinctly say, "This is bullshit!" I hope Democrats get comfortable with this kind of combative response to Republican antics because Here We Go!
What's funny to me is that it's too early for the Repubs to do this and get the result they want. The big oohs and aahs could be useful closer to November. Comments like those made yesterday by Bush only serve to "telegraph" the Repubs strategy for the fall. Not that we didn't know already. But OBTUSE just ain't gonna derail Barack Obama. And, man, what a beuatiful tag team response by upper level Dems. Keep it up people.
The New Hillary Exit Strategy
Wed May 07, 2008 at 04:34:58 PM PDT
The new equation seems to be that everyone knows an Obama win is inevitable. But the qualifier is that he has to win nice to avoid alienating Hillary's voters in the process.
That's kind of funny and kind of new isn't it? To need to defeat an opponent gently. So it is.
I can live with that. No big deal. Take a lot of shit from Hillary for another month. Make deals in Michigan and Florida. Whatever. I don't care.
Hillary is singing a song right now. I can hear it very quietly in the background of everything she does.
Hillary's BEZERKA Campaign
Fri Apr 18, 2008 at 09:00:21 PM PDT
Clinton's campaign can be summarized in one word: Bezerka.
She and her husband and her people have come unhinged and I can't really say when it happened. It may have happened after Iowa. The deep epistmological, metaphysical "WTF?" may have begun to eat at her and her associates at that point. "What the fuck just happened? Are we losing? Is it something Hillary said? Is this guy Obama for real? Is anything challenging the truth that Hillary is the best candidate that the Democrats have to offer? Hmmmmm. Well, maybe tommorrow things will look, feel and sound different."
But it never happened. And slowly, day by day, Hillary's campaign became Bezerka.
Um... Whatever... Small Town America Rocks
Sat Apr 12, 2008 at 08:28:46 AM PDT
This is such an interesting topic to me that I must discuss it online on a Saturday morning. There are birds outside feasting on the birdfeed. The quietude of my town and residence by far exceed anything anyone else has written on Dkos today. So I am throwing down the gauntlet. I love small town America. Small town America rocks, because small town America is real.
Not that big city America isn't real. It is. And it's lovable. I love big city America, because big city America does sustain and generate what we can call Culture. The melting pot rocks. I miss the city. But in my small town, aspects "the city" are integrated into the fabric of day to day existence. The cafe, for example, exists here. And at the cafe you can hear high quality jazz music all day. Then you can walk outside and see Manny driving his tractor down main street at 5mph.
Wake Me Up After North Carolina w/poll
Sun Apr 06, 2008 at 05:41:19 PM PDT
I just don't care anymore about what team hillary does. They don't count. They are done. And after North Carolina, when the math is litterally slapping them upside the face on a daily basis, this nonsense we are currently calling a primary will end.
I play chess. In chess you have the Opening, which sets up the Middle game, which sets up the End game. The Opening of this campaign, Iowa and New Hampshire, was a draw. The Middle of this campaign, everything after New Hampshire until now, has favored Obama. Not dramatically per se. But solidly. The End Game begins w/Pennsylyvania but technically speaking, all conscious beings acknowledge, Obama can only lose the end game if he makes what we in the chess world call a "blunder".
CNN/1984 (w/poll)
Sun Mar 09, 2008 at 02:44:05 AM PDT
I began my Saturday online at DKOS checking out the Wyoming threads. After 50% of the results were in and Obama had a solid lead I thought I would browse the MSM coverage. My only options were CNN and FOX. MSNBC took the day off (airing a Manson murders special).
Much to my chagrin the CNN reporter was located outside the state capitol in Pennsylvania. This kind of framing I was not interested in so I quickly flicked to FOX.
Lo and behold, FOX was actually in Wyoming covering the primary. I watched on and off into the evening. FOX kicked CNN's ass. And that has to hurt. You have to be losing integrity points and self esteem when FOX news is MORE REAL than yours.

I remember in 2004 looking at the Kerry campaign and thinking: This guy does not have what it takes. Let's not get into my reasons. Just reflect on the windsurfer ad and feel your heart sink. Not that Kerry is a bad guy, some of my best friends like John Kerry. So he can't be completely useless.
Obama on the other hand does not have the tendency to show up looking goofy on a wind surfer while trying to woo mainstream american voters. Instead, he has a tendency to interact well with others on a daily basis and, yes, to even inspire others. I don't see him trying to be all things to all people, and he's not the spawn of campaign headquarters and focus groups like most of the candidates.
Indeed, the way in which Barack has campaigned for himself and against Clinton bode well for the battle against McCain. The Clintons have thrown just enough at him to toughen him up for the Big Dance.
