Wow! Even "Oil Of Olay" is impressed!

MSNBC's Dan Abrams was on fire Thursday as he aired what he described as proof of the Fox News Nutwork's going over the line in an attempt to make Republican presidential candidate John McCain look younger.

"If you have any question whether Fox News is in the tank for McCain," exclaimed Abrams, "this should wipe any doubt from your mind. Fox is actually trying to make John McCain look younger."

Dear John:
You are not fit to be president. Mentally, intellectually or diplomatically.

You repeatedly lower the quality of discourse in American politics. The man who ran in 2000 has disappeared, unrecognizable, the face of Bush 44 has taken his place with these "Rovian" low blows. It is you who has always been the fair-haired boy of the press.

John, you have made a long series of substantial factual errors that will become a series of major issues every day until November 4. Whether the problem is age or sloppiness, partisanship or tiredness, on issue after issue you say things that are factually incorrect. You have flip/flopped on every single issue that is important to the 2008 election. You don't even know what you're for or what you're against, anymore.

John, the people who run your campaign are a who's who of the fleecing of America. You are measured by the company you keep and your company stinks to the lower depths of hell.

Yesterday, you as much stated that Barack Obama has committed sedition by advocating the loss of a war. Your statement was unforgivable and not the kind of behavior expected of a would-be president. You are disqualified. Go home to Arizona. Do America a favor, resign your senate seat. Retire in solitude. We're tired of your antics.

"FIRST GAFFE OF OBAMA TRIP......GOES TO MCCAIN," was the big Monday afternoon banner headline on Huffington Post, accompanied by a photo of McCain appearing to slap his forehead.

That headline referred to an ABCNews.com posting asserting that McCain appeared to "confuse Iraq and Afghanistan, in a "Good Morning America" interview with ABC’s Diane Sawyer, who asked whether the "the situation in Afghanistan is precarious and urgent."

Now the newest gaffe, McCain doesn't know the timeline of the "surge"...the subject of which wound up on the cutting room floor of CBS's Katie Couric interview.

The rhetoric and integrity of the once Grand Old Party (Lincoln's GOP) has become deeply infected by some of the most morally bankrupt, political and intellectual hacks in history.

The new GOP paradigm is to pander to anybody any time if it helps get you reelected.

Not much of a surprise from the party of ethical and moral bankruptcy.

A congressional investigation has produced new details on the degree to which senior Bush administration officials favored using the Clean Air Act to limit greenhouse gas emissions — until pressure from Vice President Dick Cheney's office, ExxonMobil and others in the oil industry led the Bush administration to change course.

A report by the Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming, issued today, supports the disclosure by a former Environmental Protection Agency official last week that someone in Cheney's office had a hand in the shift in policy.

This is breaking political news and the details will be forthcoming later today. Once again, McCain's association with Abramoff, whether direct or through channels is brought to the fore. This time, one of his top bundlers has an Abramoff association..it's actually a very close association.

I believe that it is now time for McCain's involvement in the Keating 5 scandal to be brought out of the closet and explored again for all to see and scrutinize.

WOW WOW WOW...rightwing evangelical pollster Scott Rasmussen has Obama jumping in the polls today. He's so far ahead in Minnesota, that even if McSame names Gov. Tim Pawlenty as his running mate, it probably wouldn't help his situation much. Pawlenty is not all that popular in Minnesota right now. As far as Michigan, Mittens Romney isn't really from Michigan, so even he may not even be an asset to McCain!

If I were running the campaign, I would use the next ten days  running Obama and Hillary through Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Missouri to hammer McCain on the economy to cement a narrative that would sink him for the fall campaign. Call it the "PSYCHOLOGICAL RECESSION TOUR"!

Easily, the most clumsy, yet revealing moment from any of the Sunday morning shows in quite some time....reportedly top McCain Vice Presidential prospect Governor Mark Sanford of South Carolina "drawing a blank," (using his own words)  live, on CNN's Wolf Blitzer Show, when asked to name a major economic policy that President Bush and John McCain disagree on.

Obama correctly capitalized on the Gramm bomb, but in Virginia, not the rust belt. If I were running the campaign, I would use the next ten days  running Obama and Hillary through Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Missouri to hammer McCain on the economy to cement a narrative that would sink him for the fall campaign. Call it the "PSYCHOLOGICAL RECESSION TOUR"! If McCain wants to run as a champion of free trade at a time recent polls found NAFTA very unpopular, and at a time when his advisors with corporate bank accounts and paychecks think economic pain is largely psychological, then Team Obama needs to take advantage of this opportunity and go for a kill now.

Honestly! From McCain's stance on Social Security (Privatization), lies about naming the Pittsburg Steelers and Green Bay Packers during his capture, Carly Fiorina's lies about McSame's votes on healthcare and abortion, close advisor and confidant Phil Gramm letting the cat out of the bag on the economy, isn't it time the media and Obama, started calling the McCain campaign on all of this? Obama better jump on this gravy train and exploit it every minute of every day until November 4, 2008!

Additionally, I'll add McCain's painfully awkward non-response to a reporter who asked him if he thought it was fair that insurance companies covered Viagra but not birth control, an issue on which he voted in favor of the insurance companies, but claimed he couldn't remember how he voted. He knows how he voted, and he knows why he voted like he did.

He voted that way because a substantial portion of religious fundamentalists think the birth control pill is the same as abortion.

McCain is as far Right as you can get on abortion. He'd like to obscure that fact until after the election. He's off with the 20% fringe.

The House Judiciary Committee subpoenaed Karl Rove to testify tomorrow, but on July 1, Rove announced he would defy the subpoena.

Could you or I get away with defying a Congressional subpoena? Of course not. So why can Karl Rove? Just like George "W"orthless Bush and Dead Eye Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, believes he is above the law.

It's time for Congress to prove them wrong by using its power of "inherent contempt" to send the Sergeant-at-Arms to arrest Karl Rove  and bring him before the full House to answer to the charge of Contempt of Congress, and to punish him to the maximum extent allowed by law, including prison
