Suggestion for Obama VP: A woman w/military and/or foreign policy experience

Sat Jun 07, 2008 at 11:20:01 AM PDT

So, it's finally over... But now that the general election begins - and below, I have an idea for an Obama VP choice: Why not a woman with military and/or foreign policy experience (if there are any out there who are Democrats and who are willing to be VP)?

Have we done it? An actual MSM article on McSame that's critical of him!

Mon Apr 14, 2008 at 10:40:38 AM PDT

Short diary, apologies...

So...was browsing through msnbc.com today - and guess what I found? An article on McSame titled "McCain more conservative than his record."

I thought, "Oh, look - a nice, soft commentary piece by Olbermann or something."

But to my surprise, it wasn't - it was actually a decently critical piece from the Associated Press!

Someone alert Rachel Maddow! We might finally be breaking through!

Poll

Do you think this is a sign the MSM will start to actually look at McSame with a more critical eye?

How Al Gore can stop the Democratic bleeding with a sentence (updated)

Sun Mar 09, 2008 at 01:55:29 PM PDT

This will be a short diary, but hopefully worth it.

This was my dad's idea, so first I wanna say thanks to him for patiently sitting through my frustrated ranting in our conversation last night. Thanks, Dad!

Anyways, after I finished rambling away, Dad calmly gave his idea on how Al Gore could quickly stop the Hillary-Obama snitchfest with just a sentence...

This started out as a comment in response to this diary by crazymoloch - but it went too long to be a simple comment, so I've moved it to my diary instead.

Election system reform: My proposal

Mon Feb 11, 2008 at 01:37:09 AM PDT

After calming down significantly from my last diary and reading mcjoan's post, I've decided to take a fly at proposing my own election system reform. It's a bit lengthy, and not completely detailed, but just bear with me...

(Updated) A slight rant about the new Berkeley protests, and a comment about civic duty

Fri Feb 08, 2008 at 12:13:57 PM PDT

UPDATE: I will not change what I originally wrote in this diary. I still feel the way I do about this, but I've also calmed down from this morning, and realized I missed a few things. You will find the new additions to this diary after the original text.

So, while waiting for class to start, I saw this.

And my ire was set off...

Response to the comments "Why I think Obama and Clinton should join forces" recieved

Thu Feb 07, 2008 at 08:04:17 PM PDT

Sorry about the delay here, classes got the better of me.

Anyway, I started to respond to the comments for my previous diary entry in a comment of my own, but felt the comment would be far too big - so I'm going to respond in this new diary entry instead.

Why I think Obama and Clinton should join forces

Wed Feb 06, 2008 at 05:55:38 PM PDT

After seeing the results of Super Tuesday, I am more convinced than ever that Obama and Clinton should just join forces - and should do it now, instead of later (if they do eventually team up). I don't care if it's Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton, I just believe that them teaming up would be the best thing for the Democrats.

Why? See below...
