Why Obama's "Gaffe" doesn't matter at all

I can't believe the ridiculous hand-wringing over Obama's comments. Were they offensive? I don't think so, but people take things in different ways.
The fact is we don't need, and we are very unlikely to get the "guns, god and gays crowd" to vote democrat.
They aren't the key to this election... and going after single issue voters is probably not a very fruitful effort...
Who do we need to go after? See below...
Clinton and the African-American Vote

Disclaimer: I'm a white guy.. but I have been paying attention closely to african-american friends, blogs and talk radio. I think there is a simmering anger in the african-american community that HRC is ignoring at her own peril. There is a deep sense of betrayal that I think has opened deep, deep wounds. People don't like being taken for granted and having others assume they will "fall in line".
We can discuss the reasons that the african-american vote will not come out in November for Hillary (assuming she wins without winning the delegate race)... but I'm more interested in which states this will hurt HRC in
Progressive Media Explodes against HRC
Fri Mar 07, 2008 at 12:52:22 PM PDT
It's been slowly building... Ed Schultz, Stephanie Miller, etc
Now we are hearing from Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, Ranid Rhodes and even mainstream sources like Johnthan Alter.
All of them have more or less come out against HRC's tactics and many have suggested HRC is supporting John McCain... It's gotten particularly pointed today
There is no point to more voting

I have come to the conclusion that more primaries are fairly useless at this point. Why? Neither canidate has a path to the nomination without the super-delegates.. more below
