It really does seem that cable TV anchors, corporate media pundits, and a few diehard Clintonians are the only organisms on this planet who take seriously the idea of an Obama/Clinton "dream ticket."

That's a good thing. But what we need now is for a few prominent Dems to speak up and make it explicitly clear to media and public alike that this "dream ticket" idea is for the birds.

Well, apparently Ted Kennedy has had enough of all the foolish media speculation. At least that's the impression one gets from an interview with Al Hunt on Bloomberg Television this weekend. Asked whether he thought putting Hillary in the Number 2 slot might be likely, he replied:  

"I don't think it's possible."

Sometimes you need somebody to just say the obvious.
