Clinton: "Economically Insecure White People"
Sun Apr 13, 2008 at 12:57:48 PM PDT
Well, well, well. Bill Clinton had a few choice words about white people back when he was running for President. Unlike Bill, Barack didn't even mention white people at all but yet the media makes a big fuss about Barack's comments. As my grandmother said,"you will find that a black man will not be able to speak the substantive truths in this election without the media trying to incite white doubt. He will not be elected if they succeed."
The problem with the press is that they don't know what to do with Barack. Barack is not a Jesse Jackson that they can just dismiss and everything will be okay. The press is TERRIFIED of Barack Obama and they should be because he is going to make them look like fools after he wins.
McCain: "I Want to Clone Alito and Roberts"
Sun Mar 30, 2008 at 08:34:21 AM PDT
Since the Democrats do not have time to focus on McCain and the media is too busy attending bbq's, we need to do their job for them. John "Maverick My Ass" McCain doesn't believe in stem cell research that helps find cures for illnesses but does believe in cloning--that is of lunatic right wing judges.
Why AA support is KEY to Winning the White House

I also cross posted this at MyDD.
A lot has been made about how Obama can't win without white working class voters, women, and latinos. Many have argued that these groups just won't vote for him. I have pointed out without doing the serious number crunching before that this is just not true and that the key to a democratic victory is SOLID African-American support. I have now done the number crunching based on the 2000 and 2004 exit polls for key states such as Pennsylvania and Ohio with the help of others and without a doubt, no matter the maximum increase of voters in Hillary's "voting blocks, " she nor any Democrat can win the White House without SOLID African-American support.
Here's why:
Where's the REAL Outrage? A Black Diarist Asks [UPDATEDx3]
Mon Mar 17, 2008 at 09:15:41 AM PDT
Note: I posted this same diary at MyDD but thought that it needed to be repeated.
I have been appalled at the responses from supposed Democrats and Hillary supporters in regards to the Rev. Wright situation. As an African-American I have been deeply offended by the comments and even more offended by the lack of outrage from supposed Democrats for so many other REAL issues that face African-Americans and others every day.
I ask you:
