If HRC is SO confident...

You've heard by now that Hillary is "THE COMEBACK KID" and that Obama "Just Can't Seem To Close The Deal".
This new cycle of media spin will play out in a day or two, and then they will all realize, oh yeah, the math didn't change at all, and there's no way the superdelegates would choose to destroy the Democratic party.
But I have a question about Hillary's finances:
Why isn't she loaning herself more money?

Bitterness and the Eternal Question (WARNING: RANT ENCLOSED)
Sun Apr 13, 2008 at 04:13:48 PM PDT
Barack Obama has just provided us with the definitive answer to the question that has plagued and beleaguered Democrats for years.
Why don't we win more often, when our economic policies clearly favor the majority of the people? Why don't people vote for us when we are offering to tax the wealthy and cut taxes for the poor and middle-class?
Why do they vote against us because of these stupid "side issues" like gun control, or abortion, or gay marriage, or whatever? Can't they see the big picture?
Barack Obama just gave you your answer to that question, Democrats:
Yes, they can.
The High Cost of Hope, Peace and Unity
Fri Apr 04, 2008 at 07:06:32 AM PDT
I've had this one brewing in me for a while. In the last few weeks I've watched the movie "Bobby" and the documentary "The U.S. vs. John Lennon". And last night I watched CNN's special about Dr. King's assassination.
What two things do the following people all have in common?
Buddha. Jesus Christ. Abraham Lincoln. Mahatma Gandhi. John F. Kennedy. Martin Luther King. Robert F. Kennedy. John Lennon.
They all "preached", in one form or another, the gospel of hope. They preached the gospel of peace. They preached the gospel of unity.
And every single one of them was murdered.
It's the End of the Economy as We Know It...(and I feel ill)

OK, anybody who's seen my very few other diaries here knows I am new to DKOS, and to being politically active in general.
That being said, this whole banking thing is scaring the shit out of me.

Yes, We Can...What, Exactly?
Wed Mar 19, 2008 at 01:59:56 AM PDT
I am relatively new here at DKOS, and this is my first attempt at a serious diary, so please excuse me if I do something wrong or noobish.
I am a Barack Obama supporter, as, it appears, are most on this site. I think we may have lost sight of something, something important--easy to do after sailing to 12 wins in a row and feeling invincible.
But first, I have a confession to make.

The (Previously) Unthinkable (with poll)

Disclaimer:
This diary is half-serious, half-snark. I don't know whether I'm just being paranoid, or whether something fishy is going on. I'm hoping some of you good folk here at DKOS will help me answer a question that's been on my mind of late:
Doesn't George W. seem awfully chipper lately, for a fellow who is about to go down in history as the worst President we've ever had?

IT'S OUR TIME, MISSISSIPPI!
Wed Mar 05, 2008 at 09:36:22 AM PDT
I know this will go beyond the borders of my home state, but I want to get my voice out there in whatever way I can, as loud as I can, so I wake up as many of my fellow Mississippians as I can. This isn't what I intended for my first KOS diary, but nonetheless, if you are interested, continue on, beyond the break, to see the message I posted this morning on the MississippiForObama listserv on Barack's site.
