Sauce for the goose

A few weeks ago after a debate, there was Hillary Clinton complaining about getting the first question all the time and even citing Saturday Night Live as though it potrayed reality.

And recently after last week's debate, there was Barack Obama complaining that the first 45 minutes of the debate consisted of questions about accessorizing and associates.

Her complaint had to do with logistics and mathematical fairness.
His complaint had to do with the substance of the discussion.

For me, this sums up the differences between them and the reason he will make a better leader: Perspective.

In Direct or Indirect Proportion

I used to have a strong conviction about the electoral college.

The existence of the electoral college system wasn't the problem, I thought. It was the winner-take-all allocation of electors that was the problem.

Now, watching the primary season battle for delegates, I'm no longer entirely sure what's the best procedure for electing a president (or even a presidential candidate).
