In keeping with the Zionist narrative that has insinuated itself even into some progressive dialogue, Hezbollah militants are misportrayed as being rather militaristic, and almost bellicose.

While many people seek to rationalize last week's landslide by Hamas so that it conforms to their own agenda, the Palestinian people are not children. They do not need their supporters to interpret their actions for them. They know exactly what they are doing.

Regardless of fanciful explanations unsupported by any factual evidence, the Palestinians did not merely repudiate Fatah. They embraced Hamas wholeheartedly. Give them credit. They found a party that represents their aspirations and they supported it. If that makes some of their less overtly bloodthirsty apologists uncomfortable, so be it.

Self-serving blatherings about Fatah corruption or Gaza unilateralism aside, here is the agenda that the Palestinians have made their official governing philosophy. Justify it if you will by blaming the evil Jews/neocons, but somewhere Adolf Hitler is rejoicing:

According to Shawn Steel, former head of the California GOP, the National Republican Party has dispatched one thousand lawyers to Northeast Cuyohoga County, Ohio, where they will conduct a "sophisticated electronic vote fraud prevention" effort. Speaking on the Larry Elder radio program at 5:25 pm Pacific time, Steel said that the GOP has established six satellite offices throughout Cuyohoga County for the purpose of coordinating an effort to "inspect and verify the validity of citizens attempting to vote". Steel said the GOP is now well positioned to intervene in every predominantly Democratic precinct throughout Cuyahoga County in what he described as an "unprecedented effort to stop vote fraud".
