Is she really a fighter?
Tue May 13, 2008 at 08:15:26 PM PDT
In recent history, the MSM has enjoyed writing the narrative of Hillary Clinton as a fighter. This is an image she has embraced and encouraged. Perhaps they believe this because she's willing to go negative and throw punches more quickly than Obama? However, when it matters most, she doesn't seem to fight at all, instead she turns her back and slams the door. So is Hillary Clinton really the fighter she loves to portray herself as? More after the fold...
not "vetting," but "research"

For weeks now Hillary has been slinging mud at Barack Obama (which normally would be unconcionable to do with a fellow government) using the argument that she's "vetting" Obama the way the Republicans would. Well now that this has gone on for awhile (really since before Ohio & Texas at least) let's examine that argument a little bit. Ironically, this diary was inspired by something Pat Buchanan said - Go figure.
Chris Matthews and Co. just don't get it... and a sad Hillary revelation...

I just listened to my recording of Chris Matthews Hardball (now, I'm not a big fan, but I like having it on while I'm spackling my bathroom) and found myself walking into the living room and gaping in exasperation as I listened to Chris Matthews, Bob Herber (sp?), and TJ Rooney (sp?) talk about Barack passing on a chance to attack Hillary Clinton.
OF COURSE he has people raising money for him who are lawyers...

I hope this doesn't violate the "Repetitive Post" rule and instead falls under "Fresh Perspective." I have to admit when I saw these two articles on Lobbyists and Oil & Gas Company contributors my faith quivered a tiny bit. After all, we are so used to politicians letting us down that we now LOOK for how they are going to let us down before we try at all to believe that they are going to lift us up. However, after close study of these articles I found them absurdly high on the smearing facts / information and disturbingly lacking in the real or relative facts / information. In addition, I think the biggest hypocrisy here is the one practiced by the media... see below for more.
