I am culling a diary I wrote a few days ago over at myDD as June 10th is the day to beg for money for Steve Sarvi the right candidate for MN-02.

A lot of good happened tonight.  Democratic turnout swamped Republican turnout in WV (so much so that Barack Obama's 27% is beating John McCain's 76%)  We have a new representative and now hold a majority of the MS congressional seats (weird huh).

Today I had my last final.  They were not fun in any way shape or form. But that is done so I balanced my checkbook.  I saw that due to being a homebody I had about $25 more than I had planned on for the semester.

Now what did I do with this small chunk of money...

I have been searching the vast expanse of youtube and I found a guy who does some good attacks on Mr. McCain.

I rocked out a test and got done about 3 hours faster than I thought I would have so I am going to tell you a dirty little secret about subtle physician bias due to compensation for Medicare Part A-C (part D really doesn't affect us that much except for if costs get too high we (and I am speaking as a future physician) have to find other acceptable alternatives or push to supplemental coverage which is really the domain of social workers/family.  Information is from various proprietary sources such as a power-point from the University of MN and a chapter of a public health text book (I'd love to circulate it but it is against copyright law).

Yesterday I did a diary on what classes, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton would be in the world of D&D this will focus on John McCain.  I am using 3.5 rules.  The good-evil axis is based on policy stances right now.  The chaotic lawful axis is based on the willingness to compromise on issues if elected.

Now why would I do this?
Every one knows that Box Mac and cheese is awful for you and is really really crappy tasting.  15 of my meals in March (urrgh) ended up being Macaroni and Cheese

John McCain has a reputation of being a straight-talker.  What does that really mean, Straight-Talk.  Is it doing what you believe is right regardless of the consequences?  Or is it a media created myth?

This diary is going to look at how your insurance fuels the type of care you get from your physician.  The information from this diary comes from a lecture I went to back in November about understanding health insurance and how that will influence patient decisions

A few terminology notes doctor=physician, HMO=Health Maintainence Organization.

Disclaimers:  The diarist is a medical student and will eventually have financial stake in the health care system.  The diarist current has very good health insurance and might not be able to provide adequate perspective to those who are uninsured (though the diarist will try in all future efforts).  Also this diary has nothing to do with the primaries, but will be followed by one highlighting the short comings of Mr. McCain's policies.  Final word, this diarist supports the Independent Provider Option (which is the more expensive but provides the best care to individuals [see below] and allows for the most flexibility as far as seeing specialist)  This diarist does not mean to disparage doctors in any way as the diarist will soon be one just stating the facts. as he/she is still very idealistic.

It is all about the dollars.  On why we as democrats should never visit right wing news sites.  As they are always opposed to us as democrats.  We need to do our best to starve the beast that is the right wing media.
