BAM! Ohio DNC AD Slams McCain & Campaign Manager On Ohio Layoff/Lobbying/Lies & Poll

Thu Aug 07, 2008 at 11:01:47 AM PDT

I'm sure most kossacks have heard about the McCain, Rick Davis (campaign manager that lost it on A.Mitchell's show)DHL, OHio, lobbying/layoff  scandal (if not see the story below, after the video).

But now the Ohio DNC/Dems have responded with a crushing anti-McCain/Hypocrite indictment, video slam.

This is exactly what we needed folks. McCain needs to be hit hard; and hit hard often with the truth. It seems the DNC went for the kill!

We don't have to lie. Just ask questions. This is what Obama needs to do till the election. He needs to show voters McCain is a lying, slimy, greedy, corporate, misogynist shill, shell of a former "Maverick" Senator. If he can't, then 527 or DNC groups such as this needs to make the case.

But somebody has to. Let's hope the Obama campaign does the same.

The video is below.

Alert! Official Maverick Smackdown Video WithYou Tube embed.

Tue Aug 05, 2008 at 09:09:37 PM PDT

Hey Guys. I know this has been posted twice already.

But here's the real, official campaign MAVERICK video, you all keep asking looking for.

I know many of you haven't seen it yet, or saw the video with the chopped up ending (already posted 2x).

The video here, is not even offically released on Obama's website yet. But it's on youtube (go figure). I guess someone in the campaign must of released it privately.

Once again; many of you haven't seen it yet, or did and want the proper ending (no Wolf Blitzer), with the You Tube embed.

Here it is.

Thanks to Hope08 and Al Rodgers for their previous video post.

GOP Gov & Possible VP Likes Obama Energy Plan Over McCain's

Tue Aug 05, 2008 at 01:36:11 PM PDT

Yesterday In Lansing Michigan, Senator Barack Obama gave a comprehensive, detailed time-lined speech/plan on our short term and long term energy goals. Everyone knows this.

But the Alaskan GOP Governor (and sometime mentioned McCain VP choice), endorsed Obama's energy plan over her GOP counterparts John McCain. Not too many people know this (or the details of Obama's plan). Thanks media.

Palin is the third major GOPer in the past few days, to endorse Obama or one of his plans. She was a frequently mentioned darkhorse VP due to her management skills and good looks. A recently revealed State Trooper scandal may tamp that down VP talk.

Despite the bad week many Obama supporters felt he had last/early this week, with new polls (Gallup Daily, AP-Ispos), new Obama commercials, agressive campaigning and trickling major GOP support. Times are looking better for Obama this week (if you ever felt it wasn't).

Let's examine what Gov. Palin liked and disliked below.

Holy Shit!: McCain Put Obama's Face On $ Bill Ad, Poll & Analysis

Sat Aug 02, 2008 at 10:46:18 AM PDT

I'm not sure if this has been posted already; or maybe it needs re-posting in light of current events.

But did anyone see/remember this?

Everyone in the media, seemed to go crazy with Barack Obama's comment on the Dollar Bill (more on that later). But does anyone know/remember, that John McCain made a commercial placing Barack's face on a 100 dollar bill, along with other American icons? It was probably one of those trifling web-ads we forgot.

This is akin to the official "Sambo-ism" Of Barack by the McCain camp (they don't need no Stinkin 527). I can't believe (or remember this shit). Maybe I was asleep, or out of town that day.

But I'm sure some of you have seen/remember this. Either way. This story can't be told enough.

How can McCain (or the GOP) claim they don't play "the race card with this ad", but accuse Obama of doing it? They knew.

We'll get into that after the video.

PS: Thanks to a commentator "Mr. Blond" on The Washington Post Website for the find/relay.

Alert! McCain had 2nd Memo Criticizing Obama For German Troop Visit + More BS & Poll

Thu Jul 31, 2008 at 02:33:21 PM PDT

McCain is really a piece of work.

First McCain makes an ad vs. Obama, including Paris Hilton. It turns out. Paris Hilton's parent's Rick and Kathy, were maxed out McCain donors. Really bright, hah?

We also know McCain was at the MTV awards in 1999 and bragged about hanging with Puffy, Busta rhymes, etc. Of course Britney was there also. The video link of him bragging about it is below. Mmmh?

More importantly. After McCain promised a town hall in Colorado he wouldn't raise taxes. He flipped & told a group of fundraisers in Kansas City that he may have to. The article below.

Even more importantly; Remember that troops/Hospital dust up in Germany. Well guess what? McCain had a second press release to that would of attacked Obama if he visited the troops (as Obama stated they would) anyway.

The link is below.

After reading, you'll find out what a slime bucket that Mccain truly is.

Gotcha! Gallup Commits "Polling Malpractice" Startling New Info/Controversy on Poll

Wed Jul 30, 2008 at 09:08:49 AM PDT

There were many problems with the latest Gallup Poll, which has McCain up +4 vs Obama. But now with more information (buried deep into the 9th paragraph of USA Today's own write up), it only gets worse. It's potentially "startlingly" worse

It seems that Gallup according to writer Seth Colter Walls, "committed polling malpractice", when describing polling expert, Prof. Adam Abramowitz analysis, of Gallup/USA today's latest halting revelation.

Gallup fudged the numbers in more ways than we ever thought!

Help Me! What's Up With Real Clear Politics, TV & Polling, with Poll Of course

Tue Jul 29, 2008 at 08:43:55 AM PDT

Historically RCP seemingly been a reputable, informative organization. I'm sure we've all used their site onetime or another for political data-trends.

Maybe it was jut an oversight, but why hasn't Real Clear Politics included the most recent Research 2000 poll, that has Obama up by 12?

For such as decent outfit, they've made some questionable selections lately.

First it was the ABC-Washpo poll, which had Obama ahead by 8 points. But the Real Clear Politics, decided to list the smaller number (that ABC-Washpo didn't even list officially). ABC-Washpo, listed Obama's lead at 8.

Then it was yesterdays now infamous, Gallup/USA Today Poll, that has Obama ahead by 3 with registered voters, and McCain ahead by 4 with "likely voters" (though both statistically tied).

But I still can't find The Research 2000 poll on their website. Where is it and why is it not listed? Here's RCP's list of polling from 7-27-09 to 11-07-08.

Buffet, Voelker, Google, Rubin, etc. Do Obama-nomics In DC & Poll

Mon Jul 28, 2008 at 05:14:22 AM PDT

For those who felt that Barack OBama spent too much time overseas (despite his 9pt bump with Gallup and 12pt in the latest research 2000 national poll), and not enough of it in America, discussing the ECONOMY. Don't worry!

He will be holding a economic forum this morning with various luminaries from the Economics, financial, business, gov't and the labor communities in Washington, DC.

Yes! Obama is holding an economic forum, after arriving back in the US Saturday night, appearing at the UNITY conference of minority journalist Sunday morning, visiting the hospital last night, to check a sore hip and has a planned briefing for congressional democrats today.

But he's not letting up folks!

International success and adulation has not gone to his head.

Jerusalem Post: Obama Smarter, McCain, Bush, Dumb as Doorknobs On Foreign Policy

Sun Jul 27, 2008 at 12:19:51 PM PDT

Or at least that could be the summation of the article, by prestigious Israeli, super-reporter/writer David Horovitz.

This year. Horovitz, has already interviewed President George W. Bush, John McCain and now Barack Obama.

Obviously Horovitz, must be a very smart and knowledgable writer on Middle Eastern/Israeli Affairs, to get such coveted sitdowns. Well, Mr. Horovitz, gave us his musings. No he didn't call them the title of my diary (lol). But nonetheless, he provided some very interesting insight on our US politicians.

Below, are excerpts of the writers actual comments on Bush, McCain and Obama's mid-east entourages and their (in his opinion) knowledge of subject (as well as a link to the article.)

We need to spread this around!

Later. I challenge the left, and Obama's campaign, on what we can do more to exploit Obama/McCain to our benefit.

Enjoy!

Disgustingly racial Morning Joe Accuses Obama of "Bradley Effect"

Fri Jul 25, 2008 at 08:35:16 AM PDT

Well we knew it was going to happen. What? The inevitable backlash from the corporate media, on Obama's successful "Presidential" overseas trip.

Despite the denials of numerous respectable pollsters (democratic & republican alike), this morning on Morning Joe, Both Chris Matthews and Joe Scarborough, stated that Barack Obama is "suffering from the Bradley effect." I couldn't believe what I was watching. I was aghast.

Why? They said it was because of 4 recent battle-ground state Quinnipiac Polls (that originated up to 13 days ago), current Gallup polling (where they claim Obama is not surpassing 45%), the lack of a bounce from his international trip and the alleged fact that he "underperforms in exit polls; it's the Bradley Effect" they surmised. I will deal with all four points after the break.

These charges are totally inane, and reckless (and border on Broadcast Racial Profiling), for such highly paid media/political pundits.

Aren't we tired of words like "exotic", "different", "not like us" and "can he sit down in a diner, somewhere in Ohio and talk/relate to a customer", with out relevance/facts?  But this latest ethnic gaffe,  is totally irresponsible; even for these two.

McCain: Infamous Surge Supermarket Video, Predating Anbar Similtaneously & Poll

Thu Jul 24, 2008 at 08:56:40 AM PDT

As we all know on, Tuesday night during a CBS interview with Katie Couric, John McCain lied, or was mistaken about The Surge/Sunni-Anbar Awakening timeline in Iraq.

Unfortunately, as we found out CBS News, removed McCain's incorrect answer, kept the original question, then substituted the question, with a different answer.

Yesterday, in response (during the end of McCain's town hall meeting in Pennsylvania), he gave one of his most convoluted/confusing answers yet, on the Surge/Anbar Awakening (and I cried about it all day on Kos, lol)

Fortunately (for us), McCain repeated his bewildering explantion, in front of the Cheese Case (during a unscheduled interview), at the King Supermarket, in the Westgate Mall, in Bethleham, PA.

Remember (probably in embarrassment), he had cancelled a scheduled Press Conference yesterday.

Obama Press Conf Israel, New McCain Lie about Surge, Post CBS

Wed Jul 23, 2008 at 07:46:41 AM PDT

Senator Obama is holding a live Press conference in the town of Sderot Israel now.

He is being hosted by the Mayor of Sderot. The town is at the center of the fighting, and has received over 2600 missle attacks so far this year (that's whats behind Obama; spent missle shells).

But, further below (in the body), are the latest McCain Shenanigans. McCain, has altered his Surge story again. Today, in a speech, he blurred the lines between the Surge, and the Sunni Awakening, with out every calling it by name, but prasing General Petraeus's "new strategy" as a hero

Now to Obama: Dressed in a white open collar shirt, with no suit jacket.

He looks, and sounds so Presidential.

Obama is not picking the questions. That's being done by an Israeli (and so far most of the questions are being asked by Israeli media).

But these guys, are trying to really ask tough questions, or put Obama in a pickle. He's truly walking a minefield before he leaves for Europe. The haters (like A. Mitchell) are gonna really look for gaffes here.

This is being broadcast on MSNBC and CNN right now.

Here's the webstream, for those with no TV ascess. http://www.cnn.com/...

Morning Joe, Halperin, Tried 2 Set Up Obama On Surge Today

Tue Jul 22, 2008 at 07:10:00 AM PDT

This morning on Morning Joe; the cast (Mika, Schuster, Geist and guest Time's Mark Halperin), took an excerpt from last nights excellent Nightline interview/profile, with Terry Moran. In the portion the broadcast, Obama indicated He wouldn't support The Surge, if given the chance again.

Note: That Nightline segment is worth it, just to see the hundreds (maybe a thousand) troops, staff and dignitaries, cheer Obama wildy, when he was introduced and gave a speech at the US Embassy's Green Zone. It was the 3 pointer/Kuwait moment on steriods. Don't miss it when it becomes available on You Tube.

Back to the  Morning Joe crew. They were just absolutely licking their chops at the prospect that Obama has a 10am press conference (Est)scheduled, with a bunch of frothing at the mouth reporters, huddled in Jordan the past few days. who They were hoping these blasted him (ala Andrea Mitchell) on The Surge. Well it didn't happen (though A.Mitchell lied on the air today, about Obama position on Petraeus).

Here's Al-Maliki Video."We want US out by 2010", says Ali al-Dabbagh, NBC Video

Mon Jul 21, 2008 at 07:14:42 AM PDT

That is what Iraqi spokesman, Ali al-Dabbagh (yes the same Ali Al-Dabbagh, that Centcom alledgedly quoted on the weekend) said above, when speaking to reporters.

"Holy Switch-a-roo Batman! The Iraqi's still want us out!" Is what Cheney must of tod GW this morning.

This was just broadcast on MSNBC at 10am. I saw Al-Dabbagh, say it with my own ears and eyes. After Obama met with Al-Maliki today, he responded to reporters by saying:

"We want the US troops out by 2010". Not on a timetable not by US election standards. But by our standards".

Now this follows up an earlier MSNBC report, saying that the Iraqi's want us out "in 2010". But Now there saying "by 2010".  Wow!

The video is below. This story is going to spread like wild-flower today guys. The Iraqi's say they want us out, repeatedly!

Ya think Obama slipped Al-Maliki a Micky in their meeting?

Update: Now McCain is forced to say (according to MSNBC) "We support the US Troop removal which ignores the facts on the ground". Say What?

Where was Obama? Secretly Escapes Afghan into Kuwait & Run Tings In England

Sun Jul 20, 2008 at 02:45:55 PM PDT

Did you know. According to Mike Allen of Politico online:

Barack Obama left Afghanistan on Sunday and made a second unannounced stop in Kuwait, Arab media reported.

Obama was honored at a banquet at the residence of Kuwait’s emir, Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah, according to the government news agency.

Obama and the other members of his delegation — Sen. Jack Reed (D-R.I.) and Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.) — also attended a meeting with the ermir and a dozen other state and royal officials of the Gulf state, the government

Also: John Rentoul, of the British Independent wrote this about Obama's impact in England:

The Democratic presidential candidate is Bill Clinton and Nelson Mandela rolled into one when it comes to sprinkling stardust. And now that he has ditched his left-wing baggage, Brown and Cameron are hoping that some of the magic will rub off on them.

Well you know I didn't agree with that "left wing baggage part". More on Mr. Rentoul later.

O Boy! It gets worse. More embarassing Al-Maliki Quotes & Poll

Sat Jul 19, 2008 at 12:57:33 PM PDT

I know Maliki has already been diared.
But quotes were ommitted. I found a bombshell!

We know The Whitehouse, accidently e-mailed this Maliki article, to the wrong reporter list. But what else did he say.

I have the actual article from the German Magazine Der Spiegel., & Maliki's quotes. There's even more damaging stuff against Bush, McCain, and the whole gang guys. Check out this quote:

"So far the Americans have had trouble agreeing to a concrete timetable for withdrawal, because they feel it would appear tantamount to an admission of defeat," Maliki told SPIEGEL. "But that isn't the case at all. If we come to an agreement, it is not evidence of a defeat, but of a victory, of a severe blow we have inflicted on al-Qaida and the militias."

Wow!

Could Obama ever want more?

It seems the media, just focused on the timeline comment, and the accidental e-mail. But I tracked down the source (the article), read it, and found that juicy quote, above & article (below).

This is too good! No matter what McBush says. Here's the link below.

McGaffe secretly takes back Gramm, & new Afghan Flub video

Fri Jul 18, 2008 at 10:13:42 AM PDT

After a week of flip flops and ommissions on the Iraq war, Afghanistan troop levels/planning and dueling Messages between McCain and chief surrogates, on whether Obama's overseas trip is a fact-finding mission, or a glorified campaign stop.  The McCain camp continues to flub. This time behind the scene. Also (in the 2nd half), McCain stumbles on the war again. The video is below.

According to Robert Novack (via Michael Barone), Politico)says John McCain has already privately patched up his relationship, and welcomed back controversial "mental midget" economist, Phil Gramm back into the McCain brood. Mr. Novack even provides quotes.

Neither Barone, or Novack, mentioned where, when this conversation took place. But if this is true (quotes are provided), its very troubling; though not suprising for McCain.

Once again, he's displaying weasel-like tendacies.

Politico Story: McCain's Bad Humor,"Rape Joke", Sexism & Idiot-ism

Thu Jul 17, 2008 at 05:13:31 AM PDT

For some reason, John McCain and his fans think he's funny? Huh?

Do they really think he's funny, or his fans know that they're supporting a Pre-internet politically incorrect boob, and have no choice but to clumsily support him?

Many Democrats have been calling McLame a goof ball, sexist, not funny, angry, scary, grandpa, etc., for years now. What's this "ol goof's" problem we ask, and "where's the media"on this?

Well today Ben Smith (of Politico) wrote a very revealing(for the press) 2 page article on J. McCain's jokes, titled "McCain's humor often backfires", and how often, many of them aren't funny, insulting and considered sexist(Rape, J.Reno, French Joke, etc.).

I know many liberals, criticize Ben Smith at times. But we should give him kudos on this one. I never expected it. I'm sure he'll receive a lot of push back by the McCain camp. But what took him so long?

Politico(technically)is not the MSM. But let's be honest. Most of the media, gets their stories from a few web sources(like Drudge, Halperin), and Politico, is definitely one of them.
